Live casino app bonuses are rarer than slot offers, and where they exist, live tables usually count for less toward wagering than slots, or not at all. None of the apps we work with runs a live-only welcome offer. Casumo’s 50% match up to £100 is the closest fit because it isn’t restricted to spins, but its game restrictions apply. 18+, T&Cs apply.
No partner offers a welcome bonus built for live dealer games; most UK welcome offers are slot spins.
Casumo’s 50% match up to £100 (min £20 deposit, 10x the bonus within 7 days, £5 max bet) is the closest fit. Check its bonus terms for which live games count; 18+ and T&Cs apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes spins need a £10 slots stake first, so they suit players who mix slots with live tables.
Live streams use mobile data and battery, and UK rules mean each non-slot round lasts at least 5 seconds.

How live casino app bonuses work in the UK
A live casino bonus is any promotion you can use, fully or partly, at tables run by a real dealer and streamed to your phone: live blackjack, live roulette, baccarat and game shows. In the UK market, most of these are not welcome offers at all. They tend to be ongoing promotions for existing customers, such as prize draws on a particular game show, cashback on live tables or leaderboards.
Welcome offers, by contrast, lean heavily towards slots. Of the five casinos we work with, three give slot spins, and the two matched bonuses either restrict wagering to slots (10bet) or apply game restrictions (Casumo). So the honest answer to ‘which app has the best live casino bonus’ is that the offer is rarely the reason to choose a live app; the tables, limits and stream quality matter more. Our live casino apps guide compares those.
Why live tables often count less toward wagering
Casinos set a game weighting for each type of game: the percentage of each stake that counts toward a bonus’s wagering. Slots commonly count at 100%. Live tables are often weighted lower or excluded entirely, for two practical reasons.
Lower house edge. Blackjack played with good decisions and even-money roulette bets lose less on average than many slots, so a bonus cleared on them costs the casino more.
Low-risk betting patterns. At roulette or baccarat you can cover outcomes against each other, for example red and black together, and turn bonus money over with very little swing. Terms usually treat this as irregular play.
The effect on your wagering can be large. Here is the same £50 bonus under different weightings, with the 10x requirement that is now the UK maximum:

PlayOJO

No: spins are on one slot
The spin offers still have a place for a live player. The winnings carry no wagering, so anything you win from Coral, Ladbrokes or PlayOJO spins becomes cash you could withdraw or, if you choose, use at a live table. The qualifying stake for Coral and Ladbrokes must go on slots, though, so they only make sense if you would play £10 of slots anyway.
Casumo’s 50% match: the maths for a live player
Casumo gives new customers 50% of their first deposit as a bonus, up to £100, if they opt in and deposit at least £20. The bonus must be wagered 10 times within 7 days, with no single bet above £5 while it is active.
Deposit £20: £10 bonus, £100 to wager.
Deposit £100: £50 bonus, £500 to wager.
Deposit £200: £100 bonus (the maximum), £1,000 to wager.
Now apply the £5 max bet to a live table. Clearing £1,000 at £5 a hand takes at least 200 rounds, and UK rules require at least 5 seconds per round on non-slot games online; live dealer rounds typically take far longer than that minimum. If live games count at less than 100%, the number of rounds multiplies. Before opting in, check Casumo’s Bonus Terms page in the app to see which games contribute, then decide whether the bonus suits the way you play. Our Casumo welcome offer page has more on the deal.
Wagering is a target, not a prediction. You can lose the deposit and bonus before reaching it; the house edge applies to every round.
Claiming a casino bonus before you join a live table
Install the casino’s app from the App Store or Google Play and check the developer matches the licence holder.
Register and verify your identity; you must be 18 or over.
Open the bonus terms in the app and find the game contribution section for live casino.
For Casumo, tick the bonus opt-in before depositing at least £20 with a payment method the terms allow.
Check your balance shows bonus funds separately from cash, and note the 7-day deadline.
Open the Live Casino tab, choose a table whose minimum fits under the £5 max bet, and play only games the terms allow.
Watch the wagering tracker, usually in your account or bonus area; our wagering tracking guide shows where to look.
Playing live casino on a phone with a bonus active
Live dealer games are video streams, so they behave differently from slots on a phone. A stable connection matters: if the stream drops mid-round, the round normally completes on the casino’s side and the result is settled to your account. Most live games fit portrait mode with the betting area at the bottom of the screen; rotating to landscape usually enlarges the video.
Streams use far more data than slots, so play on Wi-Fi when you can; our data usage guide and Wi-Fi vs mobile data guide cover the numbers and settings. Keep an eye on the betting timer too. Tapping chips onto a small layout under a countdown is where accidental over-bets happen, and with a £5 max bet rule an accidental £10 chip can put the bonus at risk.
Roulette, blackjack and game shows: how terms tend to treat each
Each live game is treated differently in typical bonus terms. Roulette often carries the lowest weighting because covering both sides is easy; see our roulette app bonuses page. Blackjack is often excluded or weighted low because of its small house edge; our blackjack app bonuses page explains why. Game shows such as Crazy Time have higher house edges and are sometimes treated more like slots, but this varies by casino.
Side bets, bet-behind and specific roulette strategies can each be listed separately in terms. If a game or bet isn’t mentioned at all, ask support in writing before using bonus funds on it.
UK rules behind live casino app bonuses
Since 19 January 2026, no UK casino bonus can require more than 10x wagering, and offers that mix gambling products are banned, so you won’t see ‘bet on football, get live casino credit’ deals. From 17 January 2025, online casino games other than slots must not autoplay or offer turbo play and must take at least 5 seconds per round. Slot stake limits of £5 (or £2 for 18–24 year olds) don’t apply to live tables, but a bonus’s own max bet rule does. More in our 2026 rule changes guide.
Where to find the closest live casino app bonuses
Casumo is the closest match for live casino app bonuses among our partners, provided its bonus terms allow the live games you want. Coral and Ladbrokes suit players who also enjoy slots, as their no-wagering spins need a £10 slots stake. Over-18s only; terms apply.
None of our partners offers a bonus aimed only at live casino. Casumo’s matched bonus is listed first because it is cash-style bonus money rather than slot spins, though game restrictions apply; Coral and Ladbrokes suit players who enjoy slots alongside live tables. 18+, T&Cs apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
Do casino apps give bonuses for live casino?
Some do, but most UK welcome offers are built around slots. Among our five partners, none has a live-only welcome bonus. Casumo’s 50% match up to £100 is the closest because it is bonus money rather than slot spins, but game restrictions apply, so check its bonus terms for live games. Live promotions for existing customers, such as prize draws, are more common. See our existing customer offers page for how those work. 18+, T&Cs apply.
Why don’t free spins work on live casino games?
Free spins are a slot feature: the casino sets a stake per spin, usually 10p, on a named slot or list of slots. Live tables have no spins, so spins can’t be used there. What you can do is win cash from no-wagering spins, such as Coral’s 100 or PlayOJO’s 80, and then choose how to use that cash. The qualifying stake for Coral and Ladbrokes must be on slots. Our free spins guide explains spin offers in full.
Does live blackjack count toward wagering in casino apps?
It depends on the casino’s terms, and in many cases it counts at a reduced rate or not at all. Blackjack has a low house edge when played well, which makes bonuses cheap to clear on it, so casinos commonly weight it low. Check the game contribution table in the bonus terms before playing. If blackjack isn’t listed, ask support. Our game weighting guide shows how to read these tables on a phone.
How much is Casumo’s welcome bonus worth for live casino?
Casumo adds 50% of your first deposit as a bonus, up to £100, if you opt in and deposit at least £20. A £200 deposit gets the full £100, which must be wagered 10x (£1,000) within 7 days, with a £5 maximum bet. How much of that wagering live games can clear depends on Casumo’s game restrictions, so read the bonus terms in the app first. See the Casumo welcome offer page; 18+ only, terms apply.
Is there a max bet on live tables when using a bonus?
Yes, if the bonus has one. Casumo’s welcome bonus caps each bet at £5 while it is active, and that applies at live tables as well as slots. On blackjack, doubling down or splitting adds to your stake, so a £3 hand doubled becomes £6 and could breach the rule. UK slot stake limits don’t apply to live tables, but the bonus rule does. Our max bet rules guide explains how these rules are enforced.
Can I use bonus money on live game shows?
Possibly, but check the terms. Game shows such as Crazy Time or Monopoly Live are live-streamed but behave differently from table games, and casinos set their own contribution rates for them. Some treat them like slots, others exclude them. Open the bonus terms in the app and search for game show or the specific title. If it isn’t covered, ask support before playing. Read our game show apps guide for how these games work on a phone.
How much data does live casino use with a bonus?
The bonus doesn’t change data use; the video stream does. Live dealer games stream continuously, so they use far more mobile data than slots, and higher video quality uses more again. If your bonus has a 7-day deadline and you plan long live sessions, Wi-Fi saves your allowance and reduces dropped streams. Most apps let you lower video quality in the table settings. See our live casino streams guide for the detail.
What happens if my live stream drops while playing with a bonus?
Normally the round is completed on the casino’s side and settled to your balance, including any bonus wagering progress. Reopen the app, return to the table or check your transaction history to confirm the result. If a bet looks wrong, contact support with the time and table name. UK operators must show your balance and history, so you can check every round. Our troubleshooting guide covers stream and connection problems.
Are live casino app bonuses worth it?
They can be if the terms let live games count at a fair rate and the deadline suits your playing time. If live tables are excluded or weighted at 10%, the bonus may be impractical for a live player. Losses remain likely over time because of the house edge, so value a bonus as extra play, not extra income. Our wagering requirements guide shows how to work out the real cost.
