New casino app bonuses

New casino app bonuses are welcome offers for people opening their first account with a casino, whether they join through a brand-new app or an established one. Downloading the app of a casino you already use doesn’t make you a new customer. Among our partners, Coral’s bet £10, get 100 free spins is the simplest new-customer offer, with no wagering on winnings. 18+, T&Cs apply.

Key takeaways

  • A welcome bonus depends on being a new customer of that casino, not on installing its app for the first time.
  • Every partner’s offer is identical in the app and on the website; there are no app-only welcome deals among them.
  • Coral (100 spins at 10p after a £10 slots bet), Ladbrokes (up to 500 at 10p) and PlayOJO (80 at 10p) pay spin winnings without wagering. 18+, T&Cs apply.
  • Before trusting a newly launched app, check the developer on the store listing matches a licence holder on the Gambling Commission register.

What ‘new’ means in new casino app bonuses

People searching for new casino app bonuses usually mean one of three things, and the answer differs for each:

What you meanWill you get a welcome bonus? What to check
A new customer joining a casino through its appYes, if you meet the termsEligibility, deposit method, opt-in
An existing customer downloading the app for the first timeNo; the app uses your existing accountExisting-customer promotions instead
A newly launched casino app or brandUsually yes, as everyone is newLicence, developer, terms, track record

A casino app is a front end to the same account as the website: same balance, same limits and same verification. That is why installing it doesn’t reset your eligibility. If you already have a Coral account, the Coral app logs you into it, and the welcome offer isn’t available again. Our app vs mobile site guide explains the relationship.

New casino app bonuses from our five partners

We work with five UK-licensed casinos. All of their welcome offers are for new customers aged 18 or over, need no promo code and are the same in the app as on the website.

Spin offers are easier for a new player to follow; the match bonuses give more flexibility in exchange for wagering. Our casino app welcome bonus guide compares them in depth.

Bonuses from newly launched casino apps

New casino brands appear in the UK regularly, often run by an existing licence holder under a new name. Their opening offers can look generous, but under UK rules they face the same limits as everyone else: wagering capped at 10x, no mixed-product offers, and the same stake limits on slots. A bigger headline from a new brand usually means a larger match with the same 10x requirement, not a better deal in itself.

What a new app lacks is history. There are fewer reviews, less information about how it handles withdrawals and complaints, and sometimes no track record of the app itself. That doesn’t make it unsafe, but it does mean you should check it more carefully. Our new casino apps page lists what to look for.

How to check a new casino app before claiming its bonus

  1. Open the App Store or Google Play listing and note the developer or seller name.
  2. Scroll the casino’s website footer or terms for the licence holder and UKGC account number.
  3. Search that account number on the Gambling Commission’s public register and confirm the licence is active and covers remote casino.
  4. Check the developer on the store listing is the licence holder or a company in its group.
  5. Read the welcome offer’s full terms: wagering, expiry, max bet, eligible games and excluded payment methods.
  6. Look for safer gambling tools in the app, such as deposit limits and time-outs.
  7. Only then register and deposit, with a limit already set.

For our partners, the register shows LC International Limited (account 54743) for Coral and Ladbrokes, Skill On Net Limited (39326) for PlayOJO, Recro Limited (61549) for Casumo and Blue Star Planet Limited (43173) for 10bet. Our guides to checking a casino licence and spotting fake casino apps cover each step.

Comparing new-customer offers in pounds

Put each offer into pounds before choosing:

  • Coral: £10 qualifying slots stake, £10 of spins (100 × 10p), no wagering.
  • Ladbrokes: £10 qualifying slots spend, up to £50 of spins (500 × 10p) if you claim all 10 days.
  • PlayOJO: £10 first deposit, £8 of spins (80 × 10p), winnings in cash.
  • Casumo: £200 deposit for the full £100 bonus, then £1,000 of wagering in 7 days at no more than £5 a bet.
  • 10bet: £25 deposit for the full £25 bonus, then £250 of slots wagering in 3 days; bonus winnings capped at £1,000.

None of these is a gift: the qualifying amount is real money you can lose, and spin winnings depend on luck. The figures help you compare like with like. For the wagering arithmetic, see our 10x wagering guide.

Already a customer? What the app can still offer

If you already have an account, the app won’t give you the welcome offer again, but it may give you access to ongoing promotions. The store listings mention several: Coral’s Smart Rewards, Rewards Grabber and Coral Coins; Ladbrokes’ LadBucks and free-to-play Instant Spins; PlayOJO’s OJOplus money-back on every bet; and Casumo’s Reel Races and Trophy Collection. Terms vary and change, so read each one. Our existing customer offers page and loyalty rewards guide explain them.

Installing a new casino app on iPhone or Android

On iPhone, real-money casino apps on the UK App Store come only from licensed operators. Check the minimum iOS version on the listing: Coral and Ladbrokes need iOS 18.0 or later, 10bet iOS 16.0, PlayOJO and Casumo iOS 15.0. On Android, Google Play only allows approved, licensed operators to offer real-money gambling apps in Great Britain, so install from Play rather than a downloaded file. See how to download casino apps for both platforms.

The 2026 rules behind every new casino app bonus

From 19 January 2026, wagering on casino bonuses is capped at 10x and offers that combine products, such as bet on football to get casino spins, are banned. Those rules apply to new and established brands equally. Credit cards can’t be used to gamble, and winnings aren’t taxed. Read the full list in our 2026 rule changes guide.

Opening several new accounts to collect welcome offers makes spending harder to track. Set a deposit limit on each, and if gambling stops being fun, the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133.

Where to claim new casino app bonuses

For new customers, Coral’s 100 spins after a £10 slots bet is the simplest of our partner offers, Ladbrokes gives the most spins over 10 days, and PlayOJO pays 80 spins’ winnings in cash. Over-18s only; terms apply.

These three are listed because their new-customer offers are the easiest to understand: a £10 qualifying stake or deposit and 10p spins with no wagering on winnings. Casumo and 10bet also run new-customer match bonuses with 10x wagering. 18+, T&Cs apply.

Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions

Do I get a new bonus for downloading a casino app?

Not if you already have an account with that casino. The app logs into the same account as the website, so you are an existing customer and the welcome offer doesn’t apply again. You may still see existing-customer promotions in the app. New customers get the same welcome offer whether they join on the app or the website. Our app-exclusive bonuses page explains why app-only deals are rare.

What is the best new casino app bonus in the UK?

It depends on how you like to play. For simplicity, Coral’s bet £10, get 100 free spins, with 10p spins and no wagering on winnings, is hard to beat. Ladbrokes gives up to 500 spins over 10 days if you claim daily. If you prefer bonus cash, Casumo’s 50% up to £100 needs 10x wagering in 7 days. Compare them on our casino app bonuses hub. Over-18s only; terms apply.

Are new casino apps safe to claim bonuses from?

They are if the operator holds an active UK Gambling Commission licence and the app is published by that licence holder or its group. Check the developer on the App Store or Google Play listing, then search the operator on the UKGC register. New brands face the same 10x wagering cap and stake limits as established ones. Our casino app safety guide walks through the checks.

Can I claim a welcome bonus at Coral and Ladbrokes?

Each brand runs its own new-customer offer, and both are operated by LC International Limited. Being a customer of one doesn’t automatically stop you joining the other, but each offer’s terms set out who qualifies, including any household or linked-account rules, so read both before signing up. Both need a £10 slots stake with a qualifying payment method. Compare them on our Coral vs Ladbrokes page. 18+ only; terms apply.

Do new casino apps need a promo code for the welcome bonus?

None of our five partners needs one. Coral, Ladbrokes and PlayOJO credit their offers when you meet the deposit or stake conditions, Casumo uses an opt-in tick and 10bet asks you to choose the casino welcome bonus at sign-up. Some other casinos do use codes, and the offer page says so. Our casino app promo codes page explains when codes are used.

Why are new casino app bonuses smaller since 2026?

Mainly because wagering is now capped at 10x and mixed-product offers are banned, both from 19 January 2026. Casinos can no longer offer large matches with 35x or 50x wagering, so headline figures have generally become more modest, but the terms are fairer. A smaller bonus with 10x wagering, or spins with none, can be better value than an older large one. Our low wagering casino apps page compares them.

How do I know if I count as a new customer?

You are normally a new customer if you have never held an account with that brand. Terms often go further, excluding people who share an address, device or payment method with an existing account. If you closed an account in the past, you usually don’t count as new. If unsure, ask the casino’s support before depositing. Read the offer’s eligibility section; our bonus terms guide highlights it.

Can I get a new customer bonus if I self-excluded before?

No. If you are self-excluded through GAMSTOP or with the casino directly, you can’t open an account or receive marketing until the exclusion ends, and casinos must check this. If you are thinking about returning after self-exclusion, consider whether gambling still feels in your control, and speak to the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 if not. Our self-exclusion help page explains how it works.

Is a new casino app bonus the same on iPhone and Android?

Yes. With all five of our partners, the welcome offer is identical on iPhone, Android and the website, because they all use the same account. What differs is how you install the app and the minimum operating system: on iPhone, Coral and Ladbrokes need iOS 18.0 or later, for example. Read our iPhone vs Android casino apps comparison for the platform differences.
