Paysafecard casino apps let you deposit with prepaid credit bought in cash at a shop, using a 16-digit PIN or a my paysafecard account, so no bank details reach the casino. It suits deposits more than withdrawals: payouts need a registered account, Coral and Ladbrokes take the account only, not loose vouchers, and paysafecard rarely unlocks welcome offers.
You buy paysafecard credit with cash at UK shops such as PayPoint outlets, then pay with a 16-digit PIN.
Withdrawals need a my paysafecard account; you can’t send winnings back to a paper voucher.
Coral and Ladbrokes accept paysafecard through the account only, and exclude it from their welcome spins.
Casumo lists paysafecard for deposits; 10bet is reported to accept it.
Unused credit can attract monthly service fees, so don’t leave small balances sitting on old PINs.

How paysafecard works with casino apps
Paysafecard is prepaid online credit, part of the Paysafe group alongside Skrill and Neteller. You buy it at a shop counter or online, receive a 16-digit PIN, and type that PIN into a payment screen to spend it. Its UK site lists retailers such as ASDA, PayPoint outlets, WHSmith and One Stop, and says there are over 650,000 sales outlets worldwide.
There are two ways to use it in a casino app. The first is the PIN on its own: type the code in the cashier and the value moves across. The second is a free my paysafecard account, where you store your PINs and log in to pay. The account is the version casinos prefer, because it identifies you and allows money to come back. If you’re weighing up prepaid options generally, our prepaid card casino apps page covers the others.
Paying in cash doesn’t make gambling anonymous. A UK-licensed casino must verify your name, age and address before you deposit, whatever method you use.

The Coral and Ladbrokes rule is worth spelling out: their help centres say paysafecard works through the account, not by typing a loose voucher PIN at the cashier. So if you only have a PIN from the shop, register it in a my paysafecard account first, then pay from the account. See Coral deposit methods and Ladbrokes deposit methods for their full cashier lists.
Buying paysafecard credit and setting up the account
Buy credit at a shop showing the paysafecard sign, or online, and keep the receipt with the 16-digit PIN somewhere private.
Download the my paysafecard app from the App Store or Google Play, or sign up on its website.
Register with the same name, date of birth and email you use for the casino.
Add your PIN to the account so the balance shows in one place.
Complete any identity checks paysafecard asks for, especially if you want to receive payouts.
How to deposit with paysafecard in a casino app
Open the casino app, log in and tap Deposit.
Choose paysafecard. At Coral or Ladbrokes, pick the account option.
Enter the amount, keeping within any deposit limit you set.
Log in to my paysafecard in the window that opens, or enter your PIN if the casino accepts PINs directly.
Confirm the payment and wait for the cashier to show your new balance.
Paysafecard deposits usually land straight away. If the cashier says the payment failed but your paysafecard balance has dropped, don’t try again; check the transaction list in the paysafecard app and send the reference to the casino’s support team. Our first deposit walkthrough covers the earlier steps if you’re new.
Withdrawing winnings when you paid by paysafecard
This is where paysafecard differs from cards and e-wallets. A paper voucher can’t receive money, so the casino needs somewhere else to send it. Both Entain brands, Coral and Ladbrokes, pay back to a my paysafecard account, but only if you have deposited by paysafecard before. Elsewhere, the cashier may offer a bank transfer instead, after you add and verify bank details.
my paysafecard payouts have limits set by paysafecard: its UK fees page lists £250 a month for a standard account and £24,000 a year for an unlimited account.
A bank transfer route usually needs proof that the account is yours, such as a statement screenshot.
UK casinos can’t let you reverse a withdrawal to keep playing, a ban in force since 31 October 2021.
At Coral and Ladbrokes, withdrawals are reviewed first and then take from instantly to five banking days depending on the method; they don’t publish a paysafecard-specific time, and they charge no withdrawal fees. Read how to withdraw from casino apps for the review process and closed-loop payments for why the method matters.
Paysafecard fees to know about
Paysafecard is free to buy at face value in most cases, but it charges for leaving money idle and for some refunds. Its UK fees and limits page, at the time of writing, lists:
Fee
Amount
When it applies
Service fee on PIN credit
£4 a month
Taken from leftover credit after a set period; the fees page gives the start month
Account service fee
£5 a month
From the 13th month, if the account has had no transactions for 12 months
Refund fee
£6 per refund
Taken from the amount refunded
Currency conversion
Varies
When paying in a currency other than pounds
Worked example: a £10 PIN with £2 left after a casino deposit is worth very little if it sits in a drawer, because a single monthly fee can wipe it out. Spend small balances or combine them in the account. Casino fees apply separately; Casumo, for instance, charges £3 on withdrawals under £10.
Paysafecard and casino app welcome offers
Prepaid methods are among the most commonly excluded from UK welcome offers. Coral’s offer (18+, new players, bet £10 on slots for 100 free spins at 10p each, 7 days to use) and Ladbrokes’ offer (18+, new customers, spend £10 on slots for up to 500 free spins at 10p each, over 10 days) both exclude Paysafe and prepaid card deposits. A paysafecard deposit won’t trigger either.
Casumo’s 50% match up to £100 (18+, opt-in, £20 minimum deposit, 10x wagering on the bonus within 7 days, £5 max bet) says payment restrictions apply, and its full terms decide whether paysafecard counts. PlayOJO’s 80 free spins (18+, new UK customers excluding Northern Ireland, £10 minimum first deposit, 10p each on Big Bass Bonanza, no wagering) don’t name excluded methods in the headline terms, but check before you pay. Our payment method exclusions page explains why operators do this.
Using paysafecard to stick to a budget
Buying a fixed amount of credit in cash can make a budget feel concrete: when the PIN is spent, it’s spent. That only works if you don’t go back to the shop for another one. Back it up with a deposit limit in the casino app and, if you find yourself buying more vouchers than planned, take a break using the app’s time-out tool.
Money deposited is the price of entertainment, not an investment, and the house edge means the casino keeps more than it pays out over time. Our gambling budget guide shows phone tools that help, and casino app limits covers the limits inside each app. The National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133.

Where to use paysafecard in a UK casino app
Casumo lists paysafecard for deposits and 10bet is reported to accept it, and neither names it in headline offer exclusions; PlayOJO’s cashier is worth checking. The two Entain brands take it through the account but exclude it from welcome spins. All are UKGC-licensed and 18+, and offer terms apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes exclude Paysafe and prepaid card deposits from their spins, so these three are the closer fit. 18+, terms apply: Casumo’s bonus has payment restrictions, and PlayOJO doesn’t publish its method list, so check both cashiers.

Frequently asked questions
Can you use paysafecard on UK casino apps?
Yes, at several of them. Coral and Ladbrokes accept paysafecard through a my paysafecard account, not by typing a loose voucher PIN. Casumo lists paysafecard as a deposit method, and a third-party review reports 10bet accepts it. PlayOJO doesn’t publish a method list in our sources. Whatever the app, you still need to register and verify your identity, because cash-bought credit doesn’t remove UK checks. Compare it with other low-cost options on low deposit casino apps.
Can I withdraw casino winnings to paysafecard?
Only to a my paysafecard account, and only where the casino supports it. Payouts to paysafecard are available at Coral and Ladbrokes if you have deposited with it before; other apps don’t publish paysafecard payouts. Paysafecard also sets its own payout limits, listed on its UK fees page as £250 a month for a standard account. If paysafecard isn’t available for withdrawals, add a debit card or bank account in your name. Our how to change your withdrawal method guide shows the steps.
Why won’t Coral or Ladbrokes accept my paysafecard PIN?
Because both apps accept paysafecard through the account only. Their help centres say vouchers aren’t accepted directly, which means typing a 16-digit PIN at the cashier won’t work. Create a free my paysafecard account, add the PIN to it, and choose the account option in the cashier. Use the same name and email as your casino account so the payment matches your identity. Both operators also exclude paysafecard from their welcome spins. See Ladbrokes deposit methods for the full list.
Does paysafecard count for casino welcome bonuses?
Often not. Both Coral and Ladbrokes exclude Paysafe and prepaid card deposits from their welcome free spins, and many other UK operators exclude prepaid methods too. Casumo says payment restrictions apply to its 50% match, so its full terms decide. PlayOJO and 10bet don’t name paysafecard in their headline terms, but check before you deposit. If an offer matters, use an eligible debit card for the qualifying payment. Our debit card casino app bonus page explains why cards usually qualify. 18+, terms apply.
Is paysafecard anonymous for gambling?
Not at a UK-licensed casino. You can buy paysafecard credit with cash, but the casino must still confirm your name, age and address before you deposit, and paysafecard asks for identity details before allowing payouts to an account. That is a legal requirement in Great Britain, not a choice by the operator. What paysafecard does keep private is your bank or card number. Read how casino apps check your age for what verification involves on a phone.
What fees does paysafecard charge?
Mainly fees for unused credit and refunds. Paysafecard’s UK fees page, at the time of writing, lists a £4 monthly service fee on leftover PIN credit after a set period, a £5 monthly fee on accounts with no transactions for 12 months, and £6 per refund. Currency conversion also costs extra if you pay in another currency. Casinos add their own rules, such as Casumo’s £3 fee on withdrawals under £10. Spend small balances rather than leaving them. See casino app minimum withdrawal.
Where can I buy paysafecard in the UK?
At thousands of shops, and online. Paysafecard’s UK site names retailers including ASDA, PayPoint outlets, WHSmith and One Stop, and has a store finder. You pay at the till and receive a receipt with a 16-digit PIN. Keep it private, because anyone with the code can spend it. Buy only what you plan to spend, since leftover credit can attract monthly fees. For other methods that keep spending visible, see pay by phone casino apps.
Is paysafecard safe to use in a casino app?
Yes, as long as you guard the PIN and your account log-in. Paysafecard is part of the regulated Paysafe group, and the casino never sees your bank details. The risks are practical ones: a photographed or lost receipt can be spent by someone else, and scammers sometimes ask people to read out PINs over the phone. No genuine casino or tax office will ask for one that way. Use biometric log-in on the my paysafecard app. More tips are in casino app security.
