Coral app deposit methods

Coral app deposit methods are Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay by Bank, PayPal and a paysafecard account. Credit cards aren’t accepted, UK deposits are capped at £2,000 each, and Google Pay and Pay by Bank start from £5. If you want the welcome spins, avoid PayPal and paysafecard for your first deposit.

Key takeaways

  • Debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay by Bank, PayPal and paysafecard are the deposit methods Coral lists.
  • UK deposits are capped at £2,000 each; the minimum shows in the cashier and is £5 for Google Pay and Pay by Bank.
  • PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafe, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don’t qualify for the welcome offer.
  • UK customers can have up to three active payment methods in a rolling 30-day period.
  • You can set daily, weekly or monthly deposit limits; reductions apply at once, increases after 24 hours.

Coral app deposit methods at a glance

The cashier in the Coral casino app offers the same methods as the website, because both run on the same account. The table brings together what Coral’s help centre says about each one, alongside the welcome offer rules, so you can pick a method once and not have to change it later.

How to deposit in the Coral app

  1. Log in to the Coral casino app and tap the Deposit button or your balance at the top of the screen.
  2. Choose a method. Information about limits and timing appears beneath each one.
  3. Enter the amount, staying within the minimum shown and the £2,000 UK maximum.
  4. Confirm: Face ID or Touch ID for Apple Pay, your phone’s lock for Google Pay, your bank app for Pay by Bank, or a PayPal login.
  5. Wait for the success message. Coral says most methods credit instantly.
  6. Check the deposit under Payment history if your balance doesn’t update.

Your account needs to be verified before you can deposit at all; Coral’s help centre is clear that unverified customers can’t deposit or play. The Coral app verification page explains the checks.

Minimum and maximum Coral deposits

Coral doesn’t publish one minimum for every method. Its deposit page says the minimum is displayed on the cashier, and the method pages give £5 for Google Pay and Pay by Bank. That makes Coral one of the £5 deposit casino apps, though the welcome offer needs £10 of slots play.

At the top end, Coral’s deposit page caps UK deposits at £2,000 each, across every method. Some individual method pages quote higher ceilings, but those don’t override the UK cap. If you find a cap restrictive, that is a signal to look at your spending; most people never come near it.

Which Coral deposit methods qualify for the welcome offer

Coral’s welcome offer for players aged 18+ gives 100 spins at 10p when you deposit and bet £10 on slots, with no wagering on winnings; spins must be accepted within 48 hours and used within 7 days. The terms exclude Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards. A standard UK Visa or Mastercard debit card is the clearest qualifying choice, but check the full terms for the card types Coral excludes.

The common trap is a phone that defaults to PayPal because you used it last time somewhere else. Change the method on the cashier screen before tapping Deposit. Full claiming steps are on the Coral app welcome offer page, and debit card casino app bonuses explains why cards are favoured.

Apple Pay and Google Pay in the Coral app

Wallet payments are the fastest way to deposit on a phone because there is no card number to type. In the Coral cashier, choose Apple Pay, enter the amount, tap the Apple Pay button and confirm with Face ID or Touch ID. Coral says there are no fees on Apple Pay deposits and that your card details stay encrypted on the device.

On Android, Google Pay works the same way with your phone’s screen lock. Coral’s Google Pay page gives a £5 minimum for deposits and withdrawals, no deposit fees, and says withdrawals go back to the card in your Google Pay wallet. Wallets must be funded by a debit card; a credit card behind Apple Pay or Google Pay can’t be used to gamble. See Apple Pay casino apps and Google Pay casino apps for more.

Pay by Bank: approving Coral deposits in your banking app

Pay by Bank, run through TrueLayer, takes money straight from your current account. After you pick your bank in the Coral cashier, your phone switches to your banking app, you approve the payment there, and you are returned to Coral with a success message. Coral lists most big UK banks and app-only banks such as Monzo, Starling and Revolut.

  • Minimum £5 per deposit, within the £2,000 UK cap.
  • Up to three bank accounts can be linked at a time, managed under Manage Bank Account.
  • No fees from Coral, and funds are normally available instantly.
  • If your bank is slow to authorise, Coral shows a message saying it is still waiting.

PayPal and paysafecard at Coral: what to know first

PayPal works in the Coral app: choose it in the cashier, enter the amount, log in to PayPal and tap Pay Now. Coral says approval takes 10–20 seconds for existing PayPal users and there is no deposit charge. Two catches: PayPal doesn’t qualify for the welcome offer, and Coral says a first deposit by PayPal can temporarily limit sportsbook access until verification is done. See PayPal casino apps for more.

paysafecard is accepted only through a paysafecard account. Since 14 September 2021 you can’t pay with voucher PINs alone, and the name on the account must match your Coral account or the deposit is rejected. It is also excluded from the welcome offer.

UK payment rules that shape the Coral cashier

  1. No credit cards. Gambling with credit cards has been banned in Great Britain since 14 April 2020, including credit-funded e-wallet top-ups.
  2. Three active methods. Coral limits UK customers to three active payment methods in a rolling 30-day period.
  3. Your own name only. Coral says adding a third party’s payment method can lead to the account being frozen.
  4. No money service business cards. According to Coral, certain debit or prepaid cards issued by money service businesses, such as some travel cards, can’t be used.
  5. Closed loop. Withdrawals return to the methods you deposited with, so your deposit choice also decides where winnings go.

If you need to swap methods, read changing payment method in a casino app first so you don’t hit the three-method limit.

Setting a deposit limit in the Coral app

Coral lets you set daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits, and you can edit or remove them at any time. Daily limits reset at midnight UK time, weekly ones at midnight on Monday and monthly ones at midnight on the first of the month. If you use more than one, the longer period must have the higher figure.

A lower limit applies immediately. A higher one only takes effect once you confirm it after 24 hours, which gives you a cooling-off pause. Setting a limit before your first deposit is a sensible habit; the Coral safer gambling tools page and our casino app limits guide show where the settings live.

Picking your first Coral deposit method for the offer

If you are new to Coral and aged 18+, deposit with a qualifying debit card or another method not on the excluded list, then bet £10 on slots to receive 100 spins at 10p each; accept them within 48 hours, use them within 7 days, and keep any winnings with no wagering. T&Cs apply. Once your deposit is in, Coral app withdrawal times explains how winnings come back out.

Coral’s 100 spins need a qualifying first deposit, so check the method table before you pay. Ladbrokes shares the same cashier rules with its own spins offer, and 10bet’s 100% match is an option if you prefer bonus cash; 18+, T&Cs apply.

Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions

What deposit methods does the Coral app accept?

Coral’s help centre lists Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay by Bank, PayPal and a paysafecard account for deposits. Fast Bank Transfer is available for withdrawals only. Credit cards aren’t accepted for UK customers. Skrill and Neteller aren’t listed in Coral’s help pages, so check the cashier if you want to use them. The same methods appear in the app and on the website. Our debit card casino apps page explains why debit cards remain the most widely accepted option.

What is the minimum deposit on the Coral app?

Coral says the minimum is displayed in the cashier for each method, and it publishes £5 as the minimum for Google Pay and Pay by Bank. Other methods show their minimum when you select them. Bear in mind that the welcome offer needs you to bet £10 on slots, so a £5 deposit won’t trigger the spins on its own. If you want to keep amounts small, set a deposit limit at the same time. See low deposit casino apps for how Coral compares with others.

What is the maximum I can deposit at Coral?

Coral caps deposits at £2,000 each for UK customers, across all payment methods. Some individual method pages show higher ceilings, but the UK cap is the one that applies. You can also set your own lower daily, weekly or monthly limits, which Coral applies immediately when you reduce them. If you are regularly hitting the cap, it is worth stepping back and reviewing how much you are spending. Our casino app limits guide shows how to set limits that suit your budget.

Can I use PayPal on the Coral app?

Yes, PayPal is available in the Coral app for both deposits and withdrawals. You choose PayPal in the cashier, log in to your PayPal account and confirm, and Coral says approval takes around 10–20 seconds with no deposit fee. However, PayPal deposits don’t qualify for the Coral welcome offer, and to withdraw to PayPal you need to have deposited with it in the last six months. A PayPal account funded by a credit card can’t be used. See PayPal casino app bonuses for why offers exclude it.

Which Coral deposit methods qualify for the free spins?

Coral’s welcome spins need a deposit with a method that isn’t excluded. The terms exclude Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards. A standard UK debit card is the clearest qualifying option. Apple Pay, Google Pay and Pay by Bank aren’t on the excluded list in the summary terms, but confirm in Coral’s full offer terms before depositing. After depositing, bet £10 or more on slots to get 100 spins at 10p. The Coral app welcome offer page has the full steps.

Does Coral charge fees on deposits?

Coral’s method pages say there are no fees on PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Pay by Bank or paysafecard deposits, and its general deposit page doesn’t list any card fees. Your own bank could charge if you pay in a currency other than your card’s, which shouldn’t arise with a UK account in pounds. Coral also states it doesn’t charge withdrawal fees. The one fee Coral does mention is an inactivity charge after 13 months without play. See Coral app withdrawal times for payout details.

Why can I only use three payment methods at Coral?

Coral limits UK customers to three active payment methods in any rolling 30-day period. Limits like this help prevent fraud and make it harder to spread spending across many cards without noticing. If you try to add a fourth, the cashier will block it until an older method drops out of the window. Plan which three you need, for example a debit card, Apple Pay and Pay by Bank. Our guide to changing payment method in a casino app explains how to swap methods cleanly.

Can I deposit at Coral using my phone bill?

Pay-by-mobile isn’t listed in Coral’s help centre as a deposit method, so don’t expect a phone bill option in the cashier. The quickest phone-based alternatives Coral does list are Apple Pay and Google Pay, which confirm payments with Face ID, a fingerprint or your screen lock, and Pay by Bank, which hands you to your banking app for approval. If phone bill deposits matter to you, our pay by phone casino apps page explains how they work and their low limits.

How do I set a deposit limit in the Coral app?

Coral lets you set daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits in your account settings, and you can change or remove them at any time. Reducing a limit applies straight away; raising one only takes effect once you confirm it after 24 hours. If you set several, the monthly figure must be higher than the weekly and daily ones. Setting a limit before your first deposit makes it easier to stick to a budget. The Coral safer gambling tools page shows where to find them.
