Is the Coral app for Android on Google Play in the UK?

Yes. Coral™ Casino: Slots & Games is listed on Google Play for users in Great Britain, with LC International Limited as the developer and a PEGI 18 rating. Google allows real-money gambling apps in Great Britain only from licensed operators it has approved, and only in countries where they are permitted, so a casino app that appears in the UK Play Store has passed that check.

The app is separate from Coral’s sports betting app. Both use the same Coral account, so you log in with the same username and password and see the same balance, but the casino app is the one built around slots, table games and live casino. Our guide to Android casino apps compares Coral with the other Google Play apps we cover.

How to install the Coral app on Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store app on your phone, signed in with a Google account set to the UK.
  2. Search for ‘Coral Casino’.
  3. Tap the listing named Coral™ Casino: Slots & Games and check the developer line reads LC International Limited.
  4. Scroll down to read the Data safety section and the ‘About this app’ notes.
  5. Tap Install and wait for the download to finish; it installs automatically.
  6. Tap Open, then log in or tap Join to register.
  7. Allow location access when asked, and choose whether to allow notifications.

If the listing doesn’t appear in search, the cause is usually your Play account’s country or a family-managed account; the troubleshooting table below covers both. For iPhone and iPad, follow our Coral download guide instead.

APK or Google Play: why the store is the right choice

Before Google opened its UK store to gambling apps, some operators offered Android casino apps as downloadable APK files. That route is no longer needed for Coral, and installing an APK from a website now carries more risk than benefit. Our pages on the APK format and sideloading explain the background.

UpdatesAutomatic through the Play StoreManual; easy to fall behind

If a website or message says you need to download a Coral APK, treat it as a warning sign. Our guide to Android APK casino apps explains why the Play Store is now the safer option across the UK.

Android version, storage and device needs

Coral doesn’t publish a minimum Android version for its casino app, and the listing details we checked don’t show one. Instead, the Play Store checks your device for you: if the Install button appears, your phone is supported; if it says your device isn’t compatible, it isn’t. Phones running a recent Android release with current security updates will have the fewest problems.

Storage needs aren’t published for the Android version either. Coral’s iPhone app was listed at about 100 MB, and casino apps typically grow as games cache their graphics, so leave a healthy margin of free space. On a phone short of space, clearing the app cache occasionally keeps it manageable. Older or cheaper devices are covered in casino apps on budget Android phones and low-storage phones.

Android permissions and data for the Coral app

Expect two permission requests. Location is the important one: UK-licensed casinos must be confident you are playing from a permitted country, and refusing location can block deposits or games. Notifications are optional, and since Android 13 the app has to ask before it can send them. Coral’s iPhone privacy label lists coarse location, so an approximate location setting is a reasonable starting point if the app works with it.

Google Play’s Data safety section is written by the developer and summarises what the app collects and shares, whether data is encrypted in transit and whether you can ask for deletion. Read it on the listing before installing, and compare it with Coral’s privacy notice, which sets out what is collected for verification, fraud prevention and marketing. Both casino app permissions and location checks explain what each request is for.

Paying with Google Pay in the Coral Android app

Google Pay is one of the deposit methods listed in Coral’s help centre, alongside debit cards, PayPal, Pay by Bank and paysafecard. Coral’s Google Pay page gives a £5 minimum deposit, and withdrawals requested to Google Pay are paid to the card underneath it, with a £5 minimum. The card in your Google wallet must be a debit card: credit cards can’t be used for gambling in Great Britain, even through a wallet.

If you are claiming the welcome offer, check the payment terms first. The offer excludes Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards, and the published summary doesn’t list every qualifying method. Our guide to Google Pay casino apps covers the steps, and Coral app deposit methods compares each option.

Setting up the Coral app after installing

A few minutes of setup on first launch saves trouble later. Log in or register with details that exactly match your ID, so automatic verification can succeed. Then set a deposit limit before your first deposit, which Coral offers daily, weekly or monthly. Decide on notifications deliberately: promotional alerts are easy to switch off in Android’s app settings if you don’t want them.

Coral’s Play listing doesn’t mention fingerprint or face unlock, so check the log-in screen to see whether biometric sign-in is offered. If not, a password manager such as Google Password Manager can fill a strong password for you. Our pages on Coral deposit limits and safer gambling tools and Coral app login problems cover the detail.

Android tablets, foldables and Chromebooks

Whether the Coral app installs on a tablet or Chromebook depends on what Google Play reports for that device, so search for it there first. Where it installs, games generally scale up to the larger screen, and live tables benefit most from the extra space. Foldables can switch between the outer and inner screen, which may reload a game; finish a round before unfolding. If the app isn’t offered on your device, the Coral website in Chrome gives access to the same account. See our pages on Android tablets and foldable phones for device-specific notes.

How to clear the Coral app cache on Android

Clearing the cache removes temporary files without touching your Coral account, which lives on Coral’s servers. Menu names vary slightly between Samsung, Pixel and other phones.

  1. Open your phone’s Settings and tap Apps (or Apps & notifications).
  2. Find and tap Coral Casino in the list.
  3. Tap Storage (or Storage & cache).
  4. Tap Clear cache, then reopen the app.
  5. If the problem remains, return and tap Clear storage or Clear data; you will need to log in again.
  6. If nothing else works, remove the app and download it again from Google Play.

Our glossary entry on the app cache explains what is stored and why it sometimes goes wrong.

Keeping the Coral Android app updated

Google Play updates apps automatically by default, usually on Wi-Fi while the phone is charging. If the app tells you an update is required, open the Coral listing in Play and tap Update. To check auto-updates are on, open the Coral listing, tap the three-dot menu and make sure ‘Enable auto update’ is ticked. Running an old version is a common cause of log-in loops and blank game screens, and updates also carry security fixes. Our guide on how to update casino apps covers both Android and iPhone.

Claiming Coral’s offer on Android

Frequently asked questions

Is the Coral casino app available on Android?

Yes. Coral™ Casino: Slots & Games is on Google Play for users in Great Britain, published by LC International Limited, the company behind Coral’s UK licence, and rated PEGI 18. Search ‘Coral Casino’ in the Play Store, check the developer name and tap Install. It uses the same account as the Coral website, so your balance, limits and verification carry across. If it doesn’t appear, check your Play Store country setting. Our Android casino apps page compares the Google Play apps we cover, and how to install casino apps on Android has general steps.

Should I download the Coral APK?

No. Coral’s casino app is available on Google Play in the UK, so there is no reason to install an APK file from a website. Play Store installs are checked by Google, update automatically and don’t require you to allow installs from unknown sources. APK files from unofficial sites can be modified copies containing malware designed to capture log-in or payment details. If a site insists you need a Coral APK, treat it as a red flag. Our guides to Android APK casino apps and how to spot fake casino apps explain the risks.

What Android version do I need for the Coral app?

Coral doesn’t publish a minimum Android version, and the Play Store doesn’t show one on the listing. The simplest test is to open the listing on your phone: if the Install button appears, your device is supported; if Google Play says it isn’t compatible, it isn’t. Phones on a recent Android release with current security updates tend to run casino apps most smoothly. If your phone can’t install it, the Coral website in Chrome uses the same account. Our pages on Android 16 and casino apps on older phones cover compatibility.

Why can’t I find the Coral app on Google Play?

The usual reasons are that your Google account’s Play Store country isn’t set to the UK, that you are using a supervised or child account, or that your device isn’t compatible. Check the country in the Play Store under your profile, Settings, General, Account and device preferences. Gambling apps are hidden from accounts managed through Family Link. Being abroad can also affect what you see. Search for ‘Coral Casino’ exactly and look for LC International Limited as the developer. Our help pages on casino apps not on Google Play and using casino apps abroad explain more.

Why does the Coral Android app need my location?

UK-licensed casinos must be confident you are playing from a country where their licence allows it, so the app checks your location. If you refuse location access, turn location off, or use a VPN, the app may block deposits or games. Coral’s iPhone privacy label lists coarse location, so approximate location may be enough. You can change the permission at any time in Android’s Settings, Apps, Coral Casino, Permissions. Our guides to casino app location checks and casino app location errors explain the fixes.

Can I use Google Pay in the Coral app?

Yes. Coral’s help centre lists Google Pay as a deposit method with a £5 minimum, and withdrawals requested to Google Pay are paid to the underlying card, also with a £5 minimum. The card in your Google wallet must be a debit card, as credit cards can’t be used for gambling in Great Britain. Before using Google Pay for a first deposit, check the welcome offer terms, which exclude some methods. Coral says it doesn’t charge withdrawal fees. Our Google Pay casino apps guide covers the steps, and Coral app withdrawal time lists payout speeds.

Why does the Coral app keep crashing on my Android phone?

Crashes usually come from an outdated app, a corrupt cache or an outdated Android System WebView. Update Coral Casino in the Play Store, then update Android System WebView and Chrome, which many apps rely on to show content. If it still crashes, clear the app’s cache in Settings, Apps, Coral Casino, Storage, and restart the phone. Low storage can also cause crashes, so free some space. Reinstalling is the final step and doesn’t affect your account. Our casino app keeps crashing guide and Coral app not working checklist go further.

Does the Coral Android app work on Samsung phones?

The Coral app installs on any Android phone that Google Play reports as compatible, and that includes Samsung Galaxy models that are reasonably up to date. Install it from Google Play rather than the Galaxy Store, check the developer is LC International Limited, and keep One UI updated. Samsung’s battery optimisation can close apps in the background, which may log you out of a live table, so you can set Coral to ‘Unrestricted’ under battery settings if that happens. Our Samsung Galaxy and Samsung Galaxy A pages cover these phones in more detail.

Is the Coral app on Android the same as on iPhone?

The account, games, offers, limits and cashier are the same, because both apps connect to one Coral account. Differences are mostly at the device level: Android uses Google Pay and the Play Store, iPhone uses Apple Pay and the App Store, and each platform has its own permission and notification settings. The iPhone app needs iOS 18.0 or later, while Coral doesn’t publish an Android minimum. You can use both and see the same balance. Our comparison of iPhone vs Android casino apps and using a casino app on two devices explain more.
