Coral app login problems usually come down to three things: a mistyped or forgotten password, an account restriction such as a pending ID check, or the phone itself blocking the app. Start with “I forgot my Password” on the login screen, which sends an SMS PIN, and work down the checklist below if that doesn’t solve it.
Coral’s password reset sends a PIN by text to your registered mobile, or an email link if no number is on file.
One login covers the casino app, the sportsbook app and the website; there is no separate casino password.
A request for ID documents or a long spell of inactivity can restrict what you can do after logging in.
Never use a VPN or someone else’s account to get round a login block; it can lead to the account being restricted.

Coral app login problems: a quick checklist
Before resetting anything, rule out the simple causes. A surprising number of failed logins are caused by autocorrect adding a capital letter, a saved password that is out of date, or a phone with no signal. The table matches what you see on screen to the most likely fix.
What happens
Most likely cause
First thing to try
Incorrect username or password
Typo, old saved password or wrong username
Type the details manually, then use I forgot my Password
SMS PIN never arrives
Old number on file or weak signal
Tap Resend Code; after repeated failures Coral emails a reset link
Reset email missing
Filtered by your email provider
Check spam or junk and search for Coral
Logged in but can’t deposit or play
Verification outstanding
Follow the in-app prompt to upload ID
Spinning wheel, then nothing
Connection or app glitch
Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, then restart the app
Message about your account being restricted
Security, verification or safer gambling block
Contact Coral support; don’t open a second account
Resetting a forgotten Coral password in the app
Coral’s help centre describes a reset that runs through your mobile number. It takes a couple of minutes if your registered details are current.
Open the Coral casino app and tap Log In.
Tap “I forgot my Password” below the password field.
Enter the personal details the form asks for, such as your username or email and date of birth.
Choose to receive a PIN by SMS. If no mobile number is registered, Coral sends a reset link by email instead.
Type the PIN into the forgotten password screen. If it hasn’t arrived after a minute, tap Resend Code.
Create a new password you haven’t used elsewhere, then log in with it.
After several failed PIN attempts, Coral switches to sending a password reset email. If you can’t find it, check spam or junk before asking for another. Our general guide to casino app password resets covers what to do if you no longer have access to the email or phone on the account.
Forgotten Coral username or registered email
Coral accounts use a username as well as an email address, and long-standing customers who opened their account in a shop or on the sportsbook years ago often can’t remember which one they chose. The help centre has a separate article for forgotten user IDs, and the login screen links to the recovery route.
If you have changed email or phone since registering, the recovery messages will go to the old details. In that case, contact support and be ready to answer security questions. Updating your details afterwards avoids the same problem next time; see changing your email or phone number in a casino app.
Face ID and fingerprint login on the Coral app
Neither the App Store nor the Google Play listing for Coral Casino mentions Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint login, and we couldn’t find a Coral help article on it, so treat biometric sign-in as something to check in the app’s own settings rather than something you can count on. What you can always use is your phone’s password manager, which fills in your Coral username and password after a face or fingerprint scan.
Coral’s help centre does say that Apple Pay deposits are confirmed with Touch ID or Face ID, so you will meet biometrics in the cashier even if the login screen asks for a typed password.
If biometric or autofill login stops working
After an app update or a change to your face or fingerprint data, type the password once to re-link it.
On iPhone, check Settings, Face ID & Passcode, and make sure Password AutoFill is on.
On Android, check that Google Password Manager or your chosen autofill service is enabled under Passwords and accounts.
If the phone’s stored password is out of date, edit or delete that entry.
Being unable to log in at all is different from logging in and finding features greyed out. Both happen for a handful of reasons, and only some of them are fixed by a password reset.
Reason
What Coral’s published rules say
How it’s resolved
Verification requested
Without verification when asked, deposit, bet and withdrawal restrictions apply
Upload the documents requested in the app
Inactive account
Inactive after 13 consecutive months without a cash bet; re-verification may be needed at login
Log in, follow the prompts, deposit or place a cash bet
Third-party payment method
Adding a card or wallet not in your name can freeze the account
Contact support and remove the method
Time-out or self-exclusion
Blocks access for the period you chose
Cannot be lifted early; wait for it to end
Repeated failed logins
Security lock after too many attempts (common practice)
Reset the password or contact support
If you set a time-out, a self-exclusion or registered with GAMSTOP, the login block is deliberate and support will not override it. That is the tool working as intended; the Coral safer gambling tools page explains each option, and GAMSTOP and casino apps covers national self-exclusion. For other locks, our guide to a locked casino app account explains what support will ask for.
Location checks and logging in away from home
The iOS privacy label says the Coral casino app collects coarse location linked to your account. Coral doesn’t publish a help article saying the casino app needs location services switched on, so you shouldn’t normally be blocked at home for having them off. Location matters more when you travel: a UK Coral account is for UK residents, and the help centre says customers who move abroad must close their account and open one for their new country.
If you see a location or country error, check that your phone’s date, time and region are set automatically, and switch off any VPN, private relay or proxy. A VPN that makes you look as if you are somewhere else can cause the account to be restricted. See casino app location errors and do casino apps track your location for more.
One Coral login for the app, website and sportsbook
Coral runs a single account across its products. The same username and password open the casino app, the sportsbook app and the Coral website, and they share one balance and one set of deposit limits. That has two practical consequences for login problems.
Changing your password anywhere changes it everywhere, so an app that suddenly rejects you may simply have an old password saved after you reset it on the website.
If you are locked out of one, you are locked out of all of them, so trying the website won’t get round a restriction.
You can be logged in on more than one device, for example a phone and a tablet; see using a casino app on two devices. Sharing your login with a partner or family member is against the terms of every UK operator, and sharing a casino app account explains why.
iPhone and Android differences when logging in to Coral
The login screen looks the same on both platforms, but what sits underneath differs. On iPhone, saved passwords live in the Passwords app and iCloud Keychain, and a stuck session is often cleared by offloading the app (Settings, General, iPhone Storage, Coral Casino, Offload App) and reinstalling it, which keeps your data. On Android you can clear the app’s cache and, if needed, its storage under Settings, Apps, Coral Casino, Storage; clearing storage signs you out, which is often exactly what a stuck login needs.
If the problem persists on both your phone and a browser, it is account-related rather than device-related, so move straight to support. If the app crashes before the login screen even appears, the Coral app not working guide is the better starting point.
Keeping your Coral login secure on a phone
Your Coral account holds money and personal documents, so treat its login like a banking one. Use a unique password generated by your phone, keep a screen lock on the device, and don’t let others use the app on your phone. If you get a reset PIN you did not ask for, change your password and tell support. The wider casino app security guide covers passwords, phishing texts and safe installs.
When to contact Coral support about a login problem
Contact Coral if the reset PIN or email never arrives, if you no longer have access to the registered phone or email, if you see a restriction message, or if you think someone else has accessed your account. Coral lists help@coral.co.uk as its support email, and third-party reviews report 24/7 live chat; both are signposted from Coral’s help centre, and email works even when you can’t get into the app. Have your full name, date of birth, postcode and username ready. More on reaching the team is on the Coral app customer service page.
Back in? Where the Coral welcome offer fits
If you are a new customer, Coral’s offer for players aged 18+ is 100 free spins when you deposit (some methods excluded) and bet £10 or more on slots; the spins are worth 10p each on selected games, must be accepted within 48 hours, last 7 days and pay winnings with no wagering. PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafe, prepaid cards and certain debit cards don’t qualify; T&Cs apply. Read the Coral app welcome offer guide before you deposit.

Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the Coral app keep saying my password is wrong?
The usual reason is that the password saved on your phone is out of date or autocorrect is changing a character. Type the password manually with the eye icon on so you can see it, and check the username rather than the email is in the first field if the form asks for it. If you recently reset your password on the website, the app may still hold the old one. If none of that works, use I forgot my Password to get an SMS PIN. Our casino app login problems guide covers other causes.
How do I reset my Coral password on my phone?
Tap Log In, then “I forgot my Password”, enter the personal details requested and choose to receive a PIN by SMS. Enter the PIN on the reset screen and set a new password. If you have no mobile number on the account, Coral emails a reset link instead, and after several failed PIN attempts it also falls back to email. Check your spam or junk folder if nothing arrives. Afterwards, update the saved password in your phone’s password manager. The casino app password reset page has more detail.
Can I log in to the Coral casino app with Face ID?
Coral doesn’t mention Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint login on its App Store or Google Play listing, so check the app’s own account settings to see whether it is offered on your version. Even without it, your phone can fill in your saved Coral username and password after a Face ID or fingerprint scan, which gives a similar result. Apple Pay deposits inside the app are confirmed with Face ID or Touch ID. If autofill stops working, see Face ID not working in casino apps.
Is my Coral sportsbook login the same as the casino app login?
Yes, Coral uses one account across its sportsbook app, casino app and website, so the same username and password work in all of them. They also share one balance, one set of deposit limits and one verification status. That means a password change in one place applies everywhere, and a restriction in one place applies everywhere too. You don’t need to register again to use the casino. The Coral app review explains how the two apps differ in layout and features.
Why has my Coral account been locked?
Coral accounts are most often limited because verification documents have been requested, the account has been inactive for 13 months, a payment method in someone else’s name was added, or a time-out or self-exclusion is active. Too many failed login attempts can also trigger a temporary security lock. The app or an email usually explains which applies. Safer gambling blocks can’t be lifted early; for the others, contact support with your account details. Our guide to a locked casino app account explains each case.
Can I log in to the Coral app when I’m abroad?
A UK Coral account is meant for use in the UK, and you may find games or payments unavailable when you travel. Coral’s help centre says customers who move to another country must close their UK account and open one for their new country of residence. Using a VPN to appear as if you are in the UK can lead to the account being restricted, so don’t. If you are travelling briefly, withdraw any balance you need before leaving. Read using UK casino apps abroad for the details.
Why didn’t my Coral reset PIN arrive?
The SMS PIN goes only to the mobile number registered on your Coral account, so a changed number is the most common reason it never arrives. Weak signal, a blocked shortcode or a full message inbox can also delay it. Tap Resend Code once and wait a minute or two; after several failed attempts Coral sends a password reset email instead. If neither reaches you, contact support to update your details after security checks. Our change your email or phone number guide explains what to have ready.
Should I open a new Coral account if I can’t log in?
No, you should not open a second Coral account. UK operators allow one account per person, and duplicate accounts are normally closed, with any welcome offer on the second account not paid. A new account also won’t bypass a time-out, self-exclusion or verification request, because those are linked to you rather than to a username. Instead, use the password reset or contact support. If you no longer want to use Coral at all, see how to close a Coral account for the correct route.
Does clearing the app’s data fix Coral login problems?
Often, yes, when the problem is a stuck session rather than a wrong password. On Android, go to Settings, Apps, Coral Casino, Storage and tap Clear cache first; if that fails, Clear storage, which signs you out. On iPhone, offload or delete the app and reinstall it from the App Store. Your account, balance and history are stored by Coral, so nothing is lost. If the same error appears in a browser too, the cause is the account, not the phone. The casino app keeps crashing page has more device fixes.
