An Apple Pay casino app bonus is a welcome offer you can unlock with an Apple Pay deposit, and at Coral and Ladbrokes Apple Pay isn’t on the list of excluded payment methods. Casumo also takes Apple Pay, though its bonus has payment restrictions you should read. Below: how an Apple Pay deposit works in each cashier, the maths of each offer and the terms that trip people up.
Apple Pay is not among the named exclusions in the Coral or Ladbrokes welcome offer terms, unlike PayPal and other e-wallets.
Apple Pay passes on the debit card stored in your Wallet, so the card itself must be one the casino accepts; credit cards are banned.
Casumo accepts Apple Pay deposits, and its iOS app lists Apple Pay and Quick Deposit, but the bonus terms say payment restrictions apply.
Coral, Ladbrokes and Casumo all list Apple Pay as a withdrawal method too, which keeps cashing out on the same route.
All offers are 18+ with terms; read the full payment clause on the day you claim.

Does an Apple Pay deposit qualify for a casino app bonus?
Usually, yes, but it depends on each casino’s exclusion list, not on Apple. Casinos commonly block e-wallets and prepaid cards from welcome offers. Apple Pay sits in an odd middle ground: it looks like a wallet on your phone, yet the payment it sends is a tokenised version of your bank debit card. Most operators treat it as a card payment.
Among our partners, Coral’s offer excludes Neteller, PayPal, Paysafe, Skrill, prepaid cards and certain debit cards, and Ladbrokes excludes prepaid cards, PayPal, Paysafe, Neteller, Skrill and Moneybookers. Apple Pay appears in neither list. That makes the two Entain brands the most straightforward Apple Pay casino apps for a welcome offer, as long as the card in your Wallet isn’t one of the excluded types.
Coral’s “certain debit cards” clause doesn’t name the cards. If your Wallet card is from a prepaid-style account or a fintech that issues virtual cards, check with Coral’s live chat before depositing.

Payment lists change. The cashier inside each app is the live source, and the bonus terms on the day you join are what count. If a method disappears, Coral and Ladbrokes also take Visa, Mastercard and Maestro debit cards directly.
How an Apple Pay deposit works inside a casino app
When you tap Apple Pay in a cashier, the app hands the payment to iOS. A sheet slides up from the bottom of the screen showing the card, the merchant name and the amount. You confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, and the casino receives a one-off device token rather than your card number.
Open the casino app and tap Deposit, usually shown as a balance button or a plus icon at the top of the screen.
Choose Apple Pay from the list of methods. If it doesn’t appear, your Wallet may have no eligible card set up.
Type the amount. For the Coral or Ladbrokes offers, deposit at least enough to cover £10 of slot play.
Tap the black Pay with Apple Pay button. The payment sheet appears over the app.
Double-click the side button and glance at the screen for Face ID, or rest your finger on Touch ID on older models.
Wait for the tick and the in-app confirmation. The balance updates within seconds in most cases.
Your bank may still run its own check, such as a push notification in the banking app. If the payment is declined, the deposit declined guide lists the usual causes, including bank gambling blocks.
Claiming Coral’s 100 spins with Apple Pay
Coral’s offer is for new players aged 18+. You deposit with a qualifying method, bet £10 or more on slots and receive 100 free spins at 10p each on selected games. The spins must be accepted within 48 hours and used within 7 days, and winnings from them carry no wagering.
In pounds, the spins have a face value of £10. If you deposit exactly £10 by Apple Pay and stake it all on slots, you’ve met the trigger; anything left from that £10 plus whatever the spins return is withdrawable cash. You could equally lose the £10 before the spins arrive, which is why it’s best treated as play you’d have done anyway. The full walkthrough is on our Coral welcome offer page.
Ladbrokes’ daily spins after an Apple Pay deposit
Ladbrokes asks new customers to deposit and spend £10 on slots, then releases 50 free spins a day for the first 10 days, a maximum of 500. Each spin is worth 10p, so a full set is £5 a day and £50 across the run. You claim each batch from the in-app inbox before 23:59, and each lot lasts 7 days. There’s no wagering on winnings.
The daily claim suits Apple Pay users who already open their phone every evening, but miss a day and that day’s 50 spins are gone. Turning on notifications helps; our casino app notifications guide explains which alerts are worth allowing. See the Ladbrokes welcome offer page for the full claim steps.
Casumo’s matched bonus and Apple Pay’s Quick Deposit
Casumo’s iOS listing names Apple Pay and Quick Deposit among its app features, along with Face ID and Touch ID login. The welcome offer is a 50% bonus up to £100 on a first deposit of at least £20, with opt-in required, 10x wagering on the bonus within 7 days and a £5 maximum bet while the bonus is active.

Why the card in your Wallet must be a debit card
UK-licensed casinos have been barred from accepting credit card gambling since 14 April 2020, and the ban reaches through Apple Pay. If your default Wallet card is a credit card, the casino will decline it, even though Apple Pay itself works everywhere else.
To fix this, open Settings, then Wallet & Apple Pay, and set a debit card as the default, or tap the card stack on the payment sheet and pick the debit card for this one payment. Our Visa debit casino apps page explains how card types are recognised.
Withdrawing bonus winnings to Apple Pay
Coral, Ladbrokes and Casumo all list Apple Pay as a withdrawal method. UK casinos run a closed-loop policy, meaning money generally goes back to the method you deposited with, so an Apple Pay deposit usually means an Apple Pay withdrawal, which lands on the card behind it.
Every Coral and Ladbrokes withdrawal goes through internal approval first and describe arrival as anywhere from instant to five banking days depending on method. Casumo says withdrawals are reviewed within hours and Apple Pay payouts arrive instantly after approval, with a £3 fee on amounts under £10. The how to withdraw guide covers verification before your first payout.

Apple Pay makes depositing quick, so set a limit first
A double-click and a glance is about as little friction as a payment can have. That speed is handy, but it removes the pause that typing card details used to give. Set a deposit limit in the casino app before your first Apple Pay deposit, and consider a gambling block in your banking app if you want a second layer.
The gambling budget guide shows how to use iPhone Screen Time and your bank’s spending tools together. Gambling is entertainment that costs money, and losses are the likely result over time.

Frequently asked questions
Do Apple Pay deposits count for casino welcome bonuses?
At most of our partners, yes. Coral and Ladbrokes don’t name Apple Pay among the methods excluded from their welcome spins; their lists cover PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafe, prepaid cards and, at Coral, certain debit cards. Casumo takes Apple Pay but says payment restrictions apply to its bonus, so read the full terms. Because Apple Pay passes on your debit card, the card itself must also qualify. See payment method exclusions and our Apple Pay casino apps page for the wider picture.
Why do some casinos exclude e-wallets but not Apple Pay?
Apple Pay sends the casino a tokenised version of your bank debit card, so the money comes straight from a named bank account the casino can verify. E-wallets such as PayPal, Skrill and Neteller hold a separate balance that can be topped up from several sources, which operators have historically linked to bonus abuse. That’s why Coral and Ladbrokes exclude e-wallets from their spin offers while Apple Pay isn’t on their lists. The e-wallet casino apps page explains the trade-offs of each wallet.
Can I use a credit card through Apple Pay at a UK casino app?
No. Gambling with a credit card has been banned in Great Britain since 14 April 2020, and the rule covers credit cards loaded into Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. If your Wallet’s default card is a credit card, the casino will decline the payment. Set a debit card as your default under Settings, then Wallet & Apple Pay, or choose the debit card on the payment sheet. Our debit card casino apps page lists which card types UK casinos accept and why some debit cards are still refused.
How fast are Apple Pay withdrawals from casino apps?
It depends on the casino’s approval step more than on Apple Pay. Casumo says withdrawals are reviewed within hours and Apple Pay payouts arrive instantly once approved, with a £3 fee below £10. Both Coral and Ladbrokes list Apple Pay withdrawals but don’t publish a separate time for them; their general guidance is instant to five banking days after internal approval. Your first withdrawal may also wait for ID checks. Compare speeds on our fast payout casino apps page and see withdrawal pending if a payout stalls.
Is Apple Pay safe for casino deposits?
It’s one of the more secure ways to pay from a phone. The casino never sees your full card number, each payment needs Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, and a lost phone can be wiped through Find My. Safety still depends on using a genuine, UKGC-licensed app from the official App Store. Check the developer name on the listing matches the casino’s licence holder before you install. Our casino app security guide covers Face ID, passwords and safe installs in more depth.
What is the minimum Apple Pay deposit for a casino app bonus?
The offer sets the practical minimum. Coral and Ladbrokes need £10 staked on slots to unlock their spins, so you need at least £10 in your balance. Casumo’s 50% bonus needs a first deposit of at least £20, and its general minimum is £10 for every method. 10bet’s matched bonus applies to your first deposit up to £25. The cashier shows the live minimum for Apple Pay at each brand. The £10 deposit casino apps page compares offers that start at that level.
Can I use Apple Pay on an iPad for a casino bonus?
Yes, if your iPad has a card set up in Wallet and the casino app supports iPad. The Coral, Ladbrokes and Casumo App Store listings all include iPad compatibility, and the offers are identical to the iPhone app. On iPad, Apple Pay confirms with Touch ID, Face ID or your passcode depending on the model. The larger screen makes it easier to read the bonus terms before depositing. Our iPad casino apps guide covers layout and landscape play on tablets.
Why can’t I see Apple Pay in the casino cashier?
The usual reasons are that your Wallet has no eligible card, the app is out of date, or the casino doesn’t offer Apple Pay. Check Settings, then Wallet & Apple Pay, and confirm a UK debit card is added. Update the casino app from the App Store. Coral, Ladbrokes, Casumo and 10bet are recorded as accepting Apple Pay; for PlayOJO, check the cashier because its payment methods aren’t confirmed in our records. If Apple Pay still won’t show, see casino app troubleshooting or contact the casino’s support team.
