Casumo app deposit methods

Casumo app deposit methods are Visa and Mastercard debit cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, Trustly, Paysafecard, Skrill and Instant Banking, according to Casumo’s UK site. The minimum deposit is £10 for every method, rising to £20 if you want the welcome bonus. Below: how each works on a phone, which to pick, and how to set a deposit limit before you start.

Key takeaways

  • Casumo lists eight deposit options: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayPal, Trustly, Paysafecard, Skrill and Instant Banking.
  • The minimum deposit is £10 for all methods; the welcome bonus needs a £20 first deposit.
  • The welcome offer has payment restrictions, so check the bonus terms in the app before choosing a method.
  • Credit cards are banned for UK gambling, including through Apple Pay or PayPal.
  • Set a deposit limit in the app before your first deposit; lowering it takes effect straight away.

Every Casumo app deposit method at a glance

Casumo’s UK FAQ names eight ways to pay in. All of them are available from the cashier in the app, though the order and exact labels can vary with your device; Apple Pay, for instance, only appears on Apple hardware.

How to deposit in the Casumo app

Your first deposit takes a little longer because you’re adding a payment method. After that, the iOS listing says the app offers Quick Deposit, which reuses your saved method so topping up is a couple of taps.

  1. Sign in to the Casumo app and make sure your age verification is complete.
  2. Tap your balance or the Deposit button to open the cashier.
  3. Choose a payment method from the list.
  4. Enter an amount of at least £10, or at least £20 if this is your first deposit and you want the welcome bonus.
  5. If you’re claiming the welcome offer, check the opt-in is selected.
  6. Confirm with Face ID, Touch ID, your banking app or your wallet login, depending on the method.
  7. Wait for the confirmation screen; your balance should update straight away.

Paying with Apple Pay on an iPhone

Apple Pay is the method built most closely into the app, and the iOS listing highlights it. You pick Apple Pay in the cashier, the payment sheet slides up showing your default card, and you double-click the side button and glance at the phone. No card number is typed or stored by Casumo; Apple passes a one-off token instead.

Two cautions. First, the card in your Wallet must be a debit card, because UK rules ban gambling on credit, including via Apple Pay. If your default Wallet card is a credit card, change it before paying. Second, because Apple Pay is so quick, it’s worth pairing with a deposit limit. Our Apple Pay casino apps page compares how other apps handle it.

Casumo doesn’t list Google Pay among its UK deposit methods. Android users can use a debit card, PayPal, Trustly or the other options in the table above. See Google Pay casino apps for which apps accept it.

Debit cards, Trustly and Instant Banking

A Visa or Mastercard debit card is the default for most people. After the first use, your card is saved and future deposits can be approved quickly; many UK banks also send a push notification to their own app asking you to confirm, which is part of strong customer authentication.

Trustly and Instant Banking work differently. Instead of card details, you choose your bank, get handed over to your banking app, approve the payment there and land back in Casumo. On a phone this hand-off between apps usually works smoothly; if it stalls, make sure your banking app is updated and that you’re not in a private browsing tab when using the website. These pay-by-bank methods suit people who’d rather not store card details anywhere.

PayPal, Skrill and Paysafecard

PayPal and Skrill are both listed. They keep your bank details away from the casino and, according to Casumo, withdrawals to them are instant once approved. PayPal must be funded by a debit card or bank account rather than a credit card for gambling. Skrill is an e-wallet used mainly for gaming and trading.

Paysafecard is a prepaid voucher bought with cash in shops or online. It’s useful as a budgeting tool, since you can only spend what’s on the voucher, but Casumo doesn’t list it as a withdrawal method, so any winnings will need to go out by another route such as a bank transfer. Check the cashier for the options available to you.

Which deposit methods qualify for the Casumo welcome offer

The welcome offer is a 50% bonus up to £100 on your first deposit, for new customers aged 18+ who opt in, with a £20 minimum deposit, 10x wagering on the bonus within 7 days and a £5 maximum bet. Its terms state that payment method restrictions apply, but Casumo’s homepage doesn’t publish the list of excluded methods.

That means you should open the full bonus terms in the app and look for an excluded methods clause before you deposit. Across UK casinos, e-wallets such as Skrill and prepaid vouchers such as Paysafecard are the methods most often excluded from welcome offers, but that’s an industry pattern, not confirmation of Casumo’s current rules. Our payment method exclusions page explains why operators exclude them.

Setting deposit limits in the Casumo app

All UKGC-licensed casinos must offer deposit limits, and Casumo is no exception. You can usually set a daily, weekly or monthly cap from the responsible gambling or account limits section of the app. Lowering a limit applies immediately; raising it involves a cooling-off delay, so you can’t lift a limit on impulse in the middle of a session.

  1. Open your account or profile area in the app.
  2. Find the responsible gambling, safer gambling or limits section.
  3. Choose deposit limit and pick the period (daily, weekly or monthly).
  4. Enter an amount you could afford to lose entirely, and save.

Limits apply to your account, so they cover the app and the website together. Our casino app limits guide walks through the different tools, and the glossary explains the deposit limit rules.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum deposit in the Casumo app?

The minimum deposit at Casumo is £10 for all payment methods, according to its UK FAQ. That applies equally in the app and on the website. If you want the welcome bonus, though, your first deposit has to be at least £20, and you must opt in; a £10 first deposit is accepted but doesn’t earn the bonus. There’s no published maximum deposit, but your own deposit limit caps what you can add. Our £10 deposit casino apps page compares minimums across apps.

Does Casumo accept Apple Pay?

Yes, Apple Pay is one of Casumo’s listed deposit methods, and the iOS app listing highlights it alongside Quick Deposit. You confirm each payment with Face ID or Touch ID, and Casumo never sees your card number. The card in your Apple Wallet must be a debit card, since credit cards can’t be used for gambling in the UK. Casumo also lists Apple Pay as a withdrawal method that’s instant after approval. Our Apple Pay casino app bonus page covers whether wallets qualify for offers.

Can I use PayPal in the Casumo app?

Yes, PayPal is on Casumo’s list of deposit methods, and withdrawals to PayPal are listed as instant once approved. On a phone you’re handed to PayPal’s login or app to approve the payment, then returned to Casumo. The PayPal account must be in your own name and funded by a debit card or bank account, not a credit card. Check the welcome bonus terms before using PayPal for a first deposit, as payment restrictions apply. Our PayPal casino apps page explains how PayPal treats gambling payments.

Does Casumo accept Google Pay?

Google Pay isn’t among the deposit methods Casumo publishes for UK customers, which are Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, PayPal, Trustly, Paysafecard, Skrill and Instant Banking. If you use an Android phone, a debit card, PayPal or a bank payment through Trustly are the closest alternatives. Payment options can change, so it’s worth checking the cashier in the app for the current list. Our Google Pay casino apps page tracks which UK apps accept it.

Can I deposit at Casumo with a credit card?

No. Credit cards have been banned for gambling in Great Britain since 14 April 2020, and that covers Casumo and every other UKGC-licensed operator. The ban also applies when a credit card sits behind Apple Pay, PayPal or another wallet. If your deposit fails, check that the card in your wallet is a debit card. The rule exists to stop people gambling with borrowed money. Our debit card casino apps page explains which cards work and why some debit cards are refused.

Which deposit methods don’t qualify for the Casumo bonus?

Casumo’s welcome offer says payment method restrictions apply, but its homepage doesn’t list the excluded methods, so you’ll need to read the full bonus terms in the app before depositing. Across the UK market, e-wallets like Skrill and prepaid options like Paysafecard are often excluded, while debit cards rarely are, but don’t assume that’s Casumo’s current list. If in doubt, ask support at hey@casumo.com before your first deposit. Our debit card casino app bonus page explains why cards are the safest choice for offers.

How do I set a deposit limit in the Casumo app?

Open your account area in the app, go to the responsible or safer gambling section, choose a deposit limit and select a daily, weekly or monthly amount. Lowering the limit works immediately, while raising it is subject to a cooling-off delay. The limit applies to your whole Casumo account, so it covers the website too. It’s best set before your first deposit. The Casumo safer gambling tools page goes through every tool, including time-outs and reality checks.

Why can’t I withdraw to Paysafecard after depositing with it?

Paysafecard is a prepaid voucher designed for paying, not receiving money, and Casumo doesn’t list it as a withdrawal method. If you deposit with Paysafecard and later want to withdraw, the cashier will offer another route, usually a bank transfer, and Casumo may ask you to verify that the bank account is yours. Bank transfers are listed as taking up to 5 days after approval. Our prepaid card page explains how vouchers and prepaid cards work in UK casino apps.
