The hammer is the main base-game feature. When it lands on the top row, it turns the symbols on the reel below it into wilds. A column of wilds in the middle of the reels can link up matching symbols on either side, which is how many base-game wins grow.

Wins are followed by tumbles: winning symbols are removed and new symbols drop into their place, which can create further wins from the same paid spin. The idea is the same as cascading reels in other games. A single spin can therefore produce several wins in a row, each one shown on screen before the next tumble.

Each spin, including its tumbles, still runs for at least 2.5 seconds under UK rules, and there is no turbo or quick-spin mode. That is why a long tumble chain may look slower in a UK app than in videos filmed elsewhere.

THOR scatters and the free spins multiplier

During the free games, a multiplier increases with every tumble. Because tumbles keep coming as long as wins form, a round with several long tumble chains builds its multiplier steadily, and later wins benefit from it.
