Casino apps for iPad Pro install from the App Store like on any iPad, and every app we cover lists iPad support. The Pro's large display, Face ID and fast chip make live dealer tables and landscape slots comfortable, but they don't change the games: rules, return and UK stake limits are identical to a phone.
All five partner apps list iPad on the UK App Store, so they install on any iPad Pro that meets the iPadOS minimum.
Every iPad Pro since 2018 uses Face ID; the 2024 M4 models moved the front camera to the long edge, which suits landscape play.
A faster chip and 120Hz screen don't speed up slots: UK rules fix a minimum of 2.5 seconds per spin and 5 seconds per round on other games.
External displays, Stage Manager and keyboards work with some apps, but mirroring a casino onto a big screen shares your balance with the room.

Casino apps on iPad Pro: what to expect
An iPad Pro runs the same iPadOS apps as every other iPad, so there's nothing special to download. Search the App Store, choose the listing from the licensed operator, and sign in to the account you already use on your phone or the web. Your balance, limits and verification status come with you because the app is a window onto that one account.
Where the Pro differs is the hardware around the app: a large, bright display, Face ID that works in landscape, optional keyboard and trackpad, and the ability to drive an external monitor. Some of that improves casino play, and some of it creates new things to think about, like privacy on a big screen. The general iPad and tablet guide covers the basics for all models; this page focuses on the Pro.
Which casino apps list iPad Pro compatibility
App Store listings don't name individual iPad models. They say "iPad" and give a minimum iPadOS version, so any iPad Pro on that version or newer qualifies. Here is what the five partner listings on the UK store say.

iPad Pro models from 2015 to 2017 can't run iPadOS 18, so on those the Coral and Ladbrokes apps won't install. Check your version in Settings, General, About. Our download guide explains the store process step by step, and reading store listings shows where to find the developer, age rating and privacy label.
Face ID on iPad Pro, in either orientation
Every iPad Pro from 2018 onwards unlocks with Face ID, and it works whichever way you hold the tablet. On the M4 models released in 2024, Apple moved the front camera and Face ID sensors to the long edge, so they sit at the top when the iPad is in landscape on a keyboard or stand, which is how most people watch a live dealer table.
Inside a casino app, Face ID can replace your password at sign-in if the developer supports it, and it confirms Apple Pay deposits where the cashier offers Apple Pay. Casumo's App Store listing mentions Face ID and Touch ID login; for the other apps, check the login screen or security settings. If Face ID stops working in an app, our Face ID troubleshooting page lists the usual fixes.
Make sure Face ID is set up in Settings, Face ID & Passcode.
Open the casino app and sign in once with your username and password.
Look for a prompt to enable Face ID, or open the account or security settings and switch it on.
Allow the app to use Face ID when iPadOS asks.
Lock the app and reopen it to check that Face ID signs you in.
Live casino and table games on an 11 or 13-inch display
The bigger the screen, the more a live table resembles a real one. On a 13-inch Pro, a live roulette wheel, the betting grid and the chip rack can all be visible at once without pinching or scrolling. Blackjack seats, side bets and the dealer's cards are easier to read, which reduces the chance of a mis-tapped bet.
The M4 and later Pro models use an OLED display, so dark casino lobbies show deep blacks and bright reel symbols. Combined with dark mode, that's easier on the eyes in a dim room, though it also makes late-night sessions feel shorter than they are. Set a reality check so the app tells you how long you've been playing; see how reality checks work.
Many recent iPad Pro models have 120Hz ProMotion displays. Animations look smoother, but UK rules still require at least 2.5 seconds per slot spin and 5 seconds per round on other casino games, so play doesn't get any faster.
Multitasking, Stage Manager and external displays
iPadOS lets you run apps in resizable windows and, on supported models, extend the screen to an external monitor. Casino apps vary in how they handle this: some resize happily, some stay full screen, and some games pause or reload when the window changes. If a game misbehaves, put the app back to full screen before placing bets.
Two cautions apply. First, running a casino in one window while working or watching something in another makes it easy to lose track of time and spending. Second, mirroring to a TV or monitor shows your balance, bets and account details to anyone in the room, including children. Our smart TV page looks at screen sharing in more detail.
Using a keyboard and trackpad with casino apps
With a Magic Keyboard or another keyboard case, the iPad Pro behaves a little like a laptop. Typing passwords, searching game lobbies and filling in registration forms is quicker, and a trackpad pointer works in most apps. Games themselves are built for touch, so tapping the spin button or chips is usually more reliable than clicking.
Don't map a key to spin or use accessibility tools to repeat taps. UK slot rules ban autoplay, and casinos may treat automated play as a breach of their terms. The slot design rules page explains what's allowed.
App or Safari on iPad Pro?
Safari on iPad requests desktop versions of websites by default, so a casino site may show its full desktop layout on a Pro. That can look great on a 13-inch screen but sometimes puts small buttons in awkward places. The app is usually tuned for touch, supports Face ID where offered and can send notifications if you allow them; the website needs no install and no updates. Read app vs mobile site for the full trade-off.

Black screen when mirroring: some video streams don't display on external screens. Play on the iPad itself.
Game reloads when resizing a window: return the app to full screen and reopen the game; your balance isn't affected by a reload.
Face ID not offered in the app: the app may not support it, or you need to enable it in its settings.
App won't install on an older Pro: your iPadOS version is below the listing's minimum; use Safari instead.
Location error on a Wi-Fi model: turn on Location Services for the app and switch off any VPN; cellular models also have GPS.
For account issues, like a locked login or a withdrawal waiting for approval, the casino's support team is the right contact. Start with our troubleshooting guide.
UK rules apply on every iPad
A powerful tablet doesn't unlock anything extra. Slot stakes are capped at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 for 18 to 24-year-olds, feature buys aren't offered in Great Britain, and bonus wagering is capped at 10x. Gambling is paid entertainment and the house edge means losing over time is the normal result. Your deposit limits and time-outs work on the iPad exactly as on your phone; our UK casino app rules page summarises the lot, and the National Gambling Helpline is on 0808 8020 133.

Frequently asked questions
Do casino apps work on every iPad Pro?
They work on any iPad Pro that runs the iPadOS version each app requires. The UK App Store listings show Coral and Ladbrokes need iPadOS 18, 10bet needs iPadOS 16, and PlayOJO and Casumo need iPadOS 15. Pro models from 2015 to 2017 can't update to iPadOS 18, so two of those apps won't install on them, but the casino websites still work in Safari. Listings don't certify individual models, only software versions. Our update required page explains what to do when an app asks for a newer version.
Is a 13-inch iPad Pro good for live casino?
It's one of the most comfortable ways to play live dealer games on a mobile device. The large display shows the dealer, table layout and chip rack together, and text such as bet limits and side-bet rules is easy to read. You'll need a steady Wi-Fi or 5G connection, because live streams use far more data than slots. Bigger screens don't change the odds or the round timing, which is set by UK rules. Our live casino apps guide compares the live sections of the main apps.
Can I use Face ID for casino apps on iPad Pro?
Yes, if the app supports biometric login. Every iPad Pro since 2018 has Face ID, and it works in portrait or landscape. Casumo's UK App Store listing mentions Face ID and Touch ID login; the other partner listings don't mention it, so check each app's login screen or security settings. Face ID also confirms Apple Pay deposits where the cashier offers Apple Pay. If you share the iPad, remember anyone whose face is enrolled as an alternate appearance could pass the check. See enable Face ID on casino apps.
Can I play two casino games at once on iPad Pro?
Technically, iPadOS lets you open apps side by side, and some casino apps allow more than one game window on the web. In practice many casinos limit you to one active game or session, and squeezing two games into half-screen windows makes mistakes and overspending more likely. UK rules also require clear display of your balance and net position in each game. For most people one game at a time, with a deposit limit and reality check set, is the sensible approach. Read about session limits for more.
Does the iPad Pro's faster chip make slots spin faster?
No. Since 31 October 2021, UK online slots must take at least 2.5 seconds per spin, with no turbo or slam-stop, and since January 2025 other casino games need at least 5 seconds per round. A faster processor and 120Hz display make menus, animations and live streams smoother, but the game's pace and its return to player are set by the game and the rules, not the hardware. Outcomes come from the game's random number generator on the server. Our RNG explainer covers how results are produced.
Can I mirror a casino app from iPad Pro to a TV?
You can use AirPlay or a cable to show the iPad's screen on a TV or monitor, though some video streams may not display. Think carefully before doing it. Everyone in the room can see your balance, bets and account details, and it can draw children's attention to gambling. Live dealer streams may also lag or pause when mirrored. If you want a bigger picture, a 13-inch iPad on a stand is usually a better compromise. Our smart TV guide goes through the options and the privacy points.
Should I use the casino app or Safari on iPad Pro?
Either works with the same account, offers and limits. The app is designed for touch, can use Face ID where the developer supports it and can send notifications if you allow them. Safari on iPad loads the desktop version of many sites by default, which can look sharp on a large screen but sometimes leaves small buttons; switch to the mobile site from the address bar menu if needed. Use whichever you find clearer. Our app vs mobile site comparison sets out the differences.
Will the casino know I've switched from iPhone to iPad Pro?
It may notice a new device and ask you to confirm a code or answer a security check, which is normal. Your balance, limits, bonus progress and verification status don't change, because they belong to your account. Some casinos end the session on one device when you sign in on another. If an account is locked after a new sign-in, contact support rather than retrying repeatedly. Our page on using two devices explains what usually happens.
Can I use a keyboard shortcut to spin on iPad Pro?
Don't try to automate play. UK slots must not offer autoplay, and using keyboard tricks or accessibility features to repeat spins can break a casino's terms. A keyboard is useful for typing passwords, searching for games and completing forms, and a trackpad pointer works in most apps, but tap the spin button yourself. If you need accessibility support to play, contact the casino; licensed operators should help. Our accessibility guide covers what iPadOS settings can do for readability and touch.
