Is the 10bet app safe? It is a licensed, regulated app: 10bet is run by Blue Star Planet Limited under UK Gambling Commission account 43173, and the app is listed on the App Store and Google Play under that business. This page sets out what the licence covers, how data and payments are handled, how games are tested and where to complain.
10bet is operated by Blue Star Planet Limited, UKGC account 43173, with a remote casino licence active since 17 December 2015.
Only install the app from the App Store or Google Play and check the developer name before signing in.
10bet says its RNG games are tested by independent labs such as iTech Labs and eCOGRA.
Safe means regulated, not that your money is protected from losses: every game has a house edge and losses are likely over time.

Is the 10bet app safe to use in the UK?
In the sense most people mean, yes. The app comes from a business licensed by the UK Gambling Commission, it is distributed through the two official app stores, and it sits on the same account rules as 10bet’s website: identity checks, closed-loop payments, safer gambling tools and a formal complaints route ending in independent dispute resolution.
Safe does not mean you will win, and no licence changes the maths of casino games. What regulation does is make sure the games pay out as published, your money and data are handled under UK rules, and you have tools and a complaints route if something goes wrong. Our general guide to casino app safety explains what to look for in any app.
Who runs 10bet and how to check the licence
The Gambling Commission’s public register lists Blue Star Planet Limited under account number 43173, with a remote casino licence active since 17 December 2015. The company is based in Malta; its complaints address is the Dragonara Business Centre in St Julians. 10bet’s own FAQ describes itself as licensed and regulated by the Great Britain Gambling Commission under that number.
Open the Gambling Commission’s public register on your phone’s browser.
Search for 43173 or Blue Star Planet Limited.
Check that the licence status is active and that remote casino activity is listed.
Look at the domain names listed under the account and confirm the site you use matches.
Check for any regulatory action recorded against the account.
Our step-by-step guide to checking a casino licence shows the register screens, and the UKGC entry explains what the regulator does and does not do.
Making sure you have the genuine 10bet app
Apple only allows real-money gambling apps on the UK App Store from licensed operators, and Google Play only allows them in Great Britain from licensed operators it has approved. Installing from those stores is therefore the first safety step. The details below come from the current listings.

If a link sends you to an APK file or a web page asking you to download an app outside the stores, do not install it. Our guides to spotting fake casino apps and the 10bet app for Android explain why sideloaded casino apps are a risk.
What data the 10bet app collects
Both stores require developers to declare how their apps handle data. These declarations are made by the developer and are not independently verified by Apple or Google, but they are a useful summary.
Neither store listing describes Face ID, fingerprint login or two-factor authentication, so check the app’s settings to see what your version offers. Whatever it supports, the basics do most of the work:
Use a unique, long password; a password manager helps.
Keep your phone locked with a passcode or biometrics, so nobody can open the app on an unlocked phone.
Update the app and your phone’s operating system; the App Store version needs iOS 16 or later.
Do not log in on public Wi-Fi, and never share one-time codes with anyone who contacts you.
If your phone is lost or stolen, change your 10bet password from another device and tell support.
UK rules protect the money side in several ways. Credit cards cannot be used to gamble, including through a wallet funded by one. Withdrawals generally go back to a method you deposited with. Since 31 October 2021, operators cannot let you reverse a withdrawal to keep playing. And before you can withdraw, 10bet must verify your identity.
10bet’s help centre gives withdrawal times of up to 2 business days for debit cards and e-wallets and up to 3 business days for bank transfers. It does not publish withdrawal fees or minimums, so check the cashier. Gambling winnings are not taxed for UK players. Full details on 10bet withdrawal times and 10bet app verification.
Are 10bet casino games fair?
10bet’s help centre says its slots and online casino games use certified random number generators tested by independent labs such as iTech Labs and eCOGRA, and that live casino games operate under licensed regulators. Under its UK licence, games must perform as their published rules describe.
Fair is not the same as favourable. Every game is built with a house edge, so the return to player is below 100% and losses are likely over time. 10bet says each game’s RTP is shown in the game menu; most slots come in several RTP versions, and the in-game figure is the one that applies. How casino apps are tested and how to find a slot’s RTP are covered in separate guides.
Safer gambling protections in the app
Under the account icon and Responsible gaming, 10bet offers daily, weekly and monthly deposit limits, a monthly loss limit, reality checks every 30 or 60 minutes, time-outs from 24 hours to 6 weeks, and self-exclusion from 6 months to 5 years. Its help centre also points to GAMSTOP for blocking all UK-licensed online gambling. UK game rules apply too: no autoplay, slot spins of at least 2.5 seconds, and slot stakes capped at £5 for players aged 25 and over and £2 for those aged 18 to 24. See 10bet safer gambling tools for where each setting is.
What happens if something goes wrong
Start with support: live chat in the app, the UK phone line on 0808 175 0550 or support@10bet.co.uk. If that does not resolve it, 10bet takes formal complaints by phone, chat, post, email to resolutioncentre@10bet.co.uk, or tools such as Resolver. If a complaint is not settled within eight weeks, UK rules let you take it to an independent alternative dispute resolution provider, which costs you nothing; 10bet’s complaints procedure page names the provider. Our 10bet customer service page has the full route.

Frequently asked questions
Is 10bet a legitimate company?
Yes. 10bet is operated by Blue Star Planet Limited, which holds a UK Gambling Commission licence under account number 43173, with remote casino activity active since 17 December 2015 according to the public register. The company is based in Malta. Its app is listed on the App Store by 10bet Limited, with Blue Star Planet Limited as copyright holder, and on Google Play by Blue Star Planet Ltd. You can check the licence yourself on the register in a couple of minutes. Our guide to checking a casino licence shows how, and the 10bet app review covers the brand.
Is the 10bet app safe to download?
Yes, from the App Store or Google Play. Apple and Google only allow real-money gambling apps in the UK from licensed operators, and the listings show 10bet Limited on iPhone and Blue Star Planet Ltd on Android, both linked to the licence holder. Check that developer name before installing. On iPhone, the listing asks for iOS 16.0 or newer. Avoid APK files or download links from emails, social media or coupon sites, as these are how fake apps spread. Our guides to downloading the 10bet app and spotting fake casino apps explain the checks.
Does the 10bet app protect my personal data?
It operates under UK data protection law and declares its data use in both stores. The App Store label lists financial and contact information as linked to you, and usage data as used for tracking. Google Play’s data safety section says data is encrypted in transit, financial information may be shared, location may be collected, and you can request deletion. These are developer declarations rather than independent audits. You can limit permissions in your phone’s settings and change marketing preferences in your account. See casino app privacy settings for practical steps.
Are 10bet games rigged?
There is no evidence of that, and the licence requires games to work as published. 10bet’s help centre says its RNG games are certified and tested by independent labs such as iTech Labs and eCOGRA, and that live games run under licensed regulators. Games still carry a house edge, which is why the RTP is below 100% and why losses are likely over time; that is how casino games are designed, not a sign of rigging. Each game’s RTP is shown in its menu. Read are casino apps rigged for how testing works.
Is my money safe in a 10bet account?
Your balance is held under the rules of the UK licence, and payments follow strict UK rules: no credit cards, withdrawals usually back to your deposit method, and no reversing a withdrawal to keep playing. 10bet publishes withdrawal times of up to 2 business days for cards and e-wallets and up to 3 for bank transfers, after processing. Identity verification is required before withdrawals. Keep your login secure, as most account losses come from shared or reused passwords. See 10bet withdrawal times and keeping your casino account secure.
Does the 10bet app have Face ID or two-factor login?
Neither store listing describes Face ID, fingerprint login or two-factor authentication, so the honest answer is to check the settings in your version of the app. Whatever is available, a unique password, a locked phone and up-to-date software protect most accounts. Never share one-time codes or your password with anyone who contacts you, even if they claim to be 10bet. If you think someone has accessed your account, change the password and contact support straight away. Our guide to enabling Face ID on casino apps explains how biometric login usually works.
What can I do if I have a dispute with 10bet?
First contact support by live chat, phone on 0808 175 0550 or email to support@10bet.co.uk. If that fails, make a formal complaint, ideally in writing to resolutioncentre@10bet.co.uk, with your username, registered name, a detailed explanation and the dates involved. If the complaint is not resolved within eight weeks, or you receive a final response you disagree with, you can take it to the independent ADR provider named in 10bet’s complaints procedure, free of charge. See 10bet customer service and how to complain about a casino app.
Is 10bet safe for people worried about their gambling?
10bet provides the tools UK operators must offer: deposit limits, a monthly loss limit, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion, all under Responsible gaming in the app. It also points to GAMSTOP, which blocks every UK-licensed online gambling site at once. If gambling is causing worry, those tools and outside support matter more than any feature of the app. The National Gambling Helpline is free and open 24 hours on 0808 8020 133, and GamCare and NHS clinics offer further help. Our 10bet safer gambling tools page shows where each setting is.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
