10bet app verification usually happens automatically when you register: 10bet checks your name, date of birth and address electronically. If those checks can’t confirm you, you’ll be asked for photo ID and proof of address, uploaded through My Account, then Verification. 10bet says most documents are checked straight away, with manual reviews taking 24 to 48 hours.
Most players are verified electronically at sign-up; documents are requested only if that fails or more checks are needed.
Accepted ID includes a passport, ID card or driving licence; proof of address must be dated within 6 months.
Upload in the app via the account icon, My Account, Verification, or email docs@10bet.co.uk from your registered address.
Checks are usually instant, but a manual review can take 24 to 48 hours.
You can’t play, including free demos, until your age is verified.

What 10bet app verification checks and why
Every UK-licensed casino must confirm who you are, that you’re 18 or over and where you live before you gamble. 10bet runs electronic know-your-customer checks, often shortened to KYC, as you register, which at UK operators typically means matching your details against credit reference and public records. Its help centre explains that if those checks don’t give enough information, you may be asked for documents.
The reasons are partly legal and partly protective. Anti-money-laundering rules mean 10bet has to know where money comes from; age checks keep under-18s out; and identity checks make it harder for someone else to open an account in your name or withdraw your money. 10bet says the information is treated confidentially. Our general guide to casino app verification explains how this works across UK apps.
Age checks before play and demo games
Since May 2019, UK casinos must verify your age before you can gamble, deposit or even play free demo versions of games. So in the 10bet app, the casino lobby may be visible before verification, but you won’t be able to spin a slot in demo mode or real-money mode until your age is confirmed. The Apple App Store rates the app 18+ and Google Play rates it PEGI 18, but those store ratings don’t replace the casino’s own checks.
Debit card photo with middle digits hidden, or bank statement
Statement no older than 6 months
Source of funds
Payslip, P60, bank statement showing income, evidence of savings
Requested in some cases only
PDFs must be the original downloaded file, for example a statement saved from your banking app. A screenshot turned into a PDF isn’t accepted.
How to upload verification documents in the 10bet app
The app lets you take a photo with your phone’s camera or pick a file from your photo library or downloads. That makes phones well suited to verification: most bank statements and utility bills can be downloaded as PDFs straight from the provider’s own app.
Tap the account icon in the top right corner of the 10bet app.
Go to My Account.
Tap Verification.
Choose to take a photo, or upload a document from your library or files.
For photos, lay the document flat in natural light, without flash, with all four corners inside the frame.
Submit, and keep the app open with a stable connection until the upload finishes.
As an alternative, you can email documents to docs@10bet.co.uk, but the email must come from the address registered to your 10bet account. 10bet also notes that you should avoid more than 90 minutes of inactivity during an upload session.
Getting documents accepted first time
Most rejections come down to photo quality or document age. 10bet’s guidance boils down to a short list of rules, shown here with the reason each matters.
Rule
Why documents get rejected
Sharp and readable
Blur, smudges or low light make text unreadable
In colour
Black-and-white copies aren’t accepted
Not edited or cropped
Any alteration looks like tampering
All edges and corners visible
Cut-off corners hide security features
No flash
Glare hides text and photos
Address proof within 6 months
Older bills or statements are out of date
Original PDF
Screenshots saved as PDFs are refused
If a document is rejected, 10bet will usually email you saying why. Our page on casino apps asking for documents covers what to do if you don’t have a suitable bill in your name.
How long 10bet verification takes
10bet says it can usually verify documents straight away. When a staff member needs to look at them manually, it can take 24 to 48 hours. Uploading late at night or during a weekend may mean a wait if manual review is needed.
There’s no verification status page described in the help centre. Instead, 10bet emails you as verification progresses, and you can ask customer support if you want to check. Keep an eye on your spam folder. While documents are outstanding, the help centre says your account may be restricted, which can stop you depositing or playing, and withdrawals may be held.
Further checks: payment ownership and source of funds
Verification isn’t always a one-off. 10bet may ask you to prove you own a payment method, especially before a withdrawal to a card or account it hasn’t seen before. A photo of your debit card with the middle digits hidden, or a recent bank statement, does the job.
A source of funds check is more involved. 10bet may ask where deposited money comes from, such as salary, savings, property, rental income, inheritance or shares, and for proof such as a payslip, P60 or bank statement showing income. These checks are part of UK operators’ duty to make sure gambling is affordable and money is legitimate. Our guide to affordability checks explains when they tend to happen.
What happens to your documents and data
10bet has a help article on how verification information is secured and used, and states that what you provide is treated confidentially. Google Play’s data safety section for the app says data is encrypted in transit and that you can request deletion. UK data protection law also gives you the right to ask what personal data a company holds about you. Our guide to getting a copy of your casino data explains how to make a request.
Only send documents through the app, or to the docs@10bet.co.uk address from your registered email. Never send ID in reply to an unexpected text or social media message.
When 10bet verification goes wrong
If your upload keeps failing, try a stronger connection and keep the app on screen until it finishes. If your details don’t match, for example after a house move or name change, update your personal information through support before uploading. If you can’t log in at all because of a verification hold, phone 10bet on 0808 175 0550 between 08:00 and 23:00 or email support@10bet.co.uk. The 10bet app login problems page has more on restrictions.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to send documents to 10bet?
Not always: most players are verified electronically when they register, using the name, date of birth and address they enter. 10bet only asks for documents if those checks can’t confirm your identity, age or address, or if it needs extra information later, such as proof you own a payment method or evidence of where your money comes from. If documents are needed, you’ll be told by email and in the app. Entering your details exactly as they appear on official records gives the electronic check the best chance. Our KYC and AML entries explain the legal background.
How long does 10bet take to verify documents?
10bet says it can usually verify documents straight away, but if a person needs to review them manually, it can take 24 to 48 hours. Clear colour images of in-date documents avoid extra rounds of checking, which is where most delays come from. 10bet emails you as verification progresses rather than showing a status page, so check your inbox and spam folder. If you’ve waited longer than 48 hours, contact customer support to ask. Our first week with a casino app guide explains what else to expect early on.
What ID does 10bet accept?
10bet accepts a passport, a national ID card, a driving licence or similar official photo ID. ID images should be JPG or PNG files, in colour, with all four corners visible and no cropping or editing. A driving licence showing the same address as your 10bet account can count as proof of identity and proof of address at once, which saves sending a separate bill. If your ID has expired, check with support before sending it. Our casino app verification guide compares document rules across UK apps.
Can I use a bank statement as proof of address for 10bet?
Yes, 10bet accepts bank statements as proof of address for players in Great Britain, provided they were issued within the last 6 months. Other options include utility bills, mobile phone bills, insurance policies, address certificates and government-issued documents. If you download the statement from your banking app as a PDF, upload that original file; 10bet won’t accept a screenshot saved as a PDF. Don’t crop or edit it, because 10bet refuses altered documents. Our casino app bank statements page covers related points.
Why can’t I play demo games in the 10bet app?
UK rules introduced in May 2019 require casinos to verify your age before you can play anything, including free-to-play demo games. If your age hasn’t yet been confirmed, the 10bet app will block both demo and real-money play until verification is complete. Most people are verified automatically at sign-up, so if demos are locked, check your email for a document request. Upload photo ID through My Account, Verification. Our free casino apps page explains how demo play works in UK apps.
Can I email my documents to 10bet instead of uploading them?
Yes, 10bet accepts documents by email at docs@10bet.co.uk, but the email must be sent from the address registered to your 10bet account. That rule helps protect you, since it stops someone else submitting documents in your name. Attach clear colour images or original PDFs that meet the same rules as in-app uploads. Uploading in the app via My Account, then Verification, is usually quicker because you can use your camera directly. Never send ID to any other address or in reply to a message you didn’t expect. Our casino app safety guide explains how to spot scams.
Why is 10bet asking for proof of my income?
This is a source of funds or affordability check, which UK operators carry out to meet their anti-money-laundering and social responsibility duties. 10bet may ask where deposited money comes from, for example salary, savings, property, rental income, inheritance or shares, and for proof such as a payslip, P60, bank statement showing income or evidence of savings. It doesn’t mean you’ve done anything wrong. Your account may be restricted until the check is complete. Our source of funds checks guide explains what to expect and how the information is used.
Is it safe to upload my passport to the 10bet app?
Uploading through the official 10bet app or website is the intended route, and 10bet states that verification information is treated confidentially. 10bet is licensed by the UK Gambling Commission through Blue Star Planet Limited, and Google Play says the app encrypts data in transit. The main risk is uploading to a fake app or responding to a phishing message, so install only from the App Store or Google Play and check the developer name. You can ask 10bet for a copy of your data under UK data protection law. The is the 10bet app safe page covers security further.
