Madame Destiny Megaways app: what changed from the original

The 2018 Madame Destiny was a tidy 5×3 game with 10 lines. Pragmatic Play's Megaways version keeps the fortune teller and her doubling wild, but swaps the fixed grid for six reels whose heights change on every spin. That's the Megaways mechanic, licensed from Big Time Gaming, and it can produce up to 117,649 ways to win when all six reels show seven symbols.

As with every Pragmatic game, there's no separate app. You open it from a casino app's lobby, using the account and balance you already have.

Changing reel heights on a phone screen

Megaways games pack a lot of symbols into a small space. When a reel shows seven symbols, each one is a seventh of the reel's height, so on a phone in portrait they can be tiny. Pragmatic scales the layout for mobile, and portrait play is perfectly usable, but landscape gives each symbol noticeably more room. A ways counter usually shows how many ways the current spin has, which helps when you're trying to follow what paid.

How to play Madame Destiny Megaways in a casino app

1. Open your casino app, tap Search and type "Madame Destiny Megaways".
2. Make sure the tile says Megaways; the original game often appears next to it.
3. Open the info menu and read the rules, including the RTP your casino uses.
4. Set your total stake. The highest option is £5 if you're 25 or over, or £2 if you're 18 to 24.
5. Tap Spin. Each spin lasts at least 2.5 seconds, and there's no autoplay in UK versions.
6. Wins pay for matching symbols on adjacent reels from the left, in any position, and the total appears beneath the reels.

The 2x wild and paying scatters

Madame Destiny is the wild. Pragmatic's game page says she doubles the payout of any winning combination she appears in. On a Megaways grid, one wild can sit in many ways at once, so a single wild on reel 3 can double several combinations together.

The scatter symbol has two jobs. Three to six of them trigger the free spins, and they also pay directly, from 5x to 100x your stake depending on how many land. At a 50p stake, that's a scatter pay of £2.50 to £50 before the bonus has even begun.

Free spins and the wheel of fortune

The free spins round opens with a wheel. According to Pragmatic's description, the wheel offers up to 12 free spins and a multiplier of up to 25x. Combinations near the top of both ranges are the exception; most rounds settle for fewer spins or a lower multiplier.

The table uses a single example win to show how the multiplier scales; actual spins and multipliers come from the wheel and are random. The game's paytable shows the exact options in your casino's version.
