The Paddy Power casino app is really two apps on the UK App Store: Paddy Power Games for slots and tables, and Paddy Power Live Casino for dealer-led games. Both sit on one account run by PPB Entertainment Limited, a Flutter company licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. Here is what each app holds and how to check them.
Casino play at Paddy Power is licensed to PPB Entertainment Limited, UKGC account 39426, owned by Flutter Entertainment.
On iPhone there are two casino apps, both sold by Paddy Power PLC: Paddy Power Games and Paddy Power Live Casino.
Each app uses the same account, balance and safer gambling limits as the website.
Check the seller name on the store listing and the domain on the UKGC register before you install anything.

The Paddy Power casino app comes in two parts
Search the UK App Store for Paddy Power and you will see more than one icon. The casino side is split between Paddy Power Games, filed in the Casino category, and Paddy Power Live Casino, a dedicated app for streamed dealer tables. The sports betting app is a separate download again, so a phone can end up with three Paddy Power icons if you use everything.
That split matters on a phone with limited space. The Games listing shows a download of 150.4 MB and needs iOS 15.0 or later, while the Live Casino listing shows 103.4 MB and asks for iOS 13.0 or later. If you only ever play slots, the Games app alone covers you; if you mostly sit at live roulette or blackjack tables, the smaller live app is the more focused choice. Our guide to casino app data usage explains why live streams cost more data than slots.
Both listings carry an 18+ age rating and name Paddy Power PLC as the seller. A casino app is only a front end: your login, balance, deposit limits and verification status are the same in each app and on the website.
Who runs Paddy Power's casino for UK players
The Gambling Commission's public register lists PPB Entertainment Limited as the holder of the casino and bingo licence, under account number 39426, active since November 2014. Its head office is in St Julian's, Malta. The company is part of Flutter Entertainment, the group that also owns Betfair, Sky Betting & Gaming and PokerStars.
Paddy Power uses several licensed companies for different jobs, which is common for large groups. The register shows these related accounts:

From Irish bookmaker to Flutter brand
Paddy Power was founded in Ireland in 1988 and built its name on high-street betting shops before moving online. In 2016 it merged with Betfair to form Paddy Power Betfair, and that group renamed itself Flutter Entertainment in 2019. Flutter later bought The Stars Group, which is how PokerStars and Sky Betting & Gaming joined the same family.
The casino was always a second product next to sports betting, and the app line-up reflects that history. Rather than one giant app, Paddy Power keeps sports, games and live casino in separate downloads. That is different from some newer brands that put everything behind tabs in one app; our page on casino apps vs betting apps looks at the pros and cons of each approach.
Paddy Power Games vs Paddy Power Live Casino
The two store listings describe quite different apps. This table sets out what each one says, as shown on the UK App Store in October 2026.

What the Paddy Power Games listing describes
The Games listing names a slot lobby with Megaways slots and Slingo, a Jackpot Slots category and Daily Jackpots, which are must-drop jackpots that pay out before a set time each day. It also lists online roulette and blackjack tables, live tables and game shows such as Crazy Time, plus two promotional features: Paddy's Wonder Wheel, a daily prize wheel, and Paddy's Rewards Club, the loyalty scheme.
On a phone, this kind of lobby is usually organised as a horizontal row of category tabs at the top and scrolling tiles below. Slots and Slingo play well in portrait. Most table games and many slots switch to landscape to give the reels or the felt more room, so it is worth unlocking rotation before you start a session.
Every slot in a UK app follows the same design rules: no autoplay, no turbo or slam-stop, at least 2.5 seconds per spin and a visible net position. Stakes are capped at £5 a spin if you are 25 or over and £2 if you are 18 to 24. The UK stake limits on mobile slots guide explains how apps apply these caps.
How to install the Paddy Power casino app safely
Install from the official store only, and confirm the seller before you tap Get. These steps work on iPhone; the Android route follows the same logic in Google Play.
Open the App Store and search for Paddy Power Games (or Paddy Power Live Casino if you only want dealer tables).
Open the listing and scroll to Information. Check that the seller is Paddy Power PLC and the age rating is 18+.
Tap Get and confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your Apple Account password.
Open the app and log in with your existing Paddy Power details, or register if you are new.
Allow notifications only if you want them; you can switch them off later in Settings.
Complete age and identity checks before playing anything, including free-to-play demos.
On Android, search Google Play and check the developer name in the About section before installing. Google lets licensed operators it has approved list real-money apps in Great Britain, so you should not need an APK file. If the app does not appear, our page on casino apps not on Google Play explains the usual reasons.
Your account, verification and UK rules in the app
Because the apps share one account, verification you complete in the browser carries over to every app. UK licensees must confirm your name, address and date of birth before you can deposit or play, and they may ask for documents later for anti-money laundering or affordability reasons. The casino app verification guide covers what to expect.
Several national rules shape how Paddy Power's casino apps behave, as they do for every UK operator:
Credit cards can't be used to gamble, including through Apple Pay or Google Pay linked to a credit card.
Bonus wagering is capped at 10x for offers made from 19 January 2026.
Withdrawals can't be reversed once requested.
Feature buys are not offered in Great Britain.
Non-slot casino games must take at least 5 seconds per round, with no autoplay.
Safer gambling tools in Paddy Power's apps
UK licence conditions require Paddy Power to offer deposit limits, time-outs, self-exclusion and links to support, and these apply across the app and website because they sit on the account. In most operator apps these tools live under the account or profile menu, often in a section called Safer Gambling or Responsible Gambling. Reality checks, which pop up after a set time to show how long you have played, are another common option.
Setting a deposit limit before your first session is the simplest control. Lowering a limit takes effect straight away, while raising one involves a cooling-off delay. You can also block every UK online operator at once through GAMSTOP. Our guide to setting limits in casino apps walks through each tool.
Paddy Power's regulatory record
The Gambling Commission publishes enforcement action against licensees. For Paddy Power, the record includes a £2.2 million penalty in 2018, when the business traded as Paddy Power Betfair, and a £2 million settlement in December 2025. Penalty notices and public statements on the Commission's website describe what went wrong in each case.
A past penalty does not stop a business holding a licence, but it is useful context. The register is the place to confirm the licence is active today.
How to check Paddy Power on the UKGC register
It takes about two minutes on your phone and works for any casino, not only Paddy Power:
Go to the Gambling Commission website and open the public register of businesses.
Search for PPB Entertainment Limited or the account number 39426.
Check that the status is Active and that remote casino is among the licensed activities.
Open the domain names list and confirm that the web address you use is on it.
Compare the company with the seller or developer shown on the app store listing.
Compare alternatives to the Paddy Power casino app
If you want a sportsbook brand with its own casino app, the partner apps below follow a similar model. Coral's casino app gives new players 100 free spins after they deposit and bet £10 on slots (10p spins on selected games, 48 hours to accept, valid 7 days, no wagering on winnings; some payment methods excluded). Ladbrokes pays up to 500 free spins, 50 a day for 10 days, after a £10 slots spend (10p each, claim daily from the inbox, no wagering). 10bet matches a first deposit 100% up to £25, with 10x wagering on slots within 3 days. All are 18+ and terms apply. See every option on our casino app reviews page.
We don't work with Paddy Power. These licensed apps also pair a big sportsbook brand with a separate casino app; 18+, terms apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Paddy Power casino app safe to use in the UK?
Yes, the casino apps are run under a UK Gambling Commission licence held by PPB Entertainment Limited, account 39426. That means the operator must protect your funds and data, verify your age and offer safer gambling tools. Safety also depends on installing the genuine app: check that the App Store seller is Paddy Power PLC before you tap Get, and avoid APK files from websites. Our safe casino apps page lists the other checks worth making before you deposit anywhere.
Which Paddy Power app do I need for casino games?
Paddy Power Games is the app for slots, jackpots, Slingo and table games, while Paddy Power Live Casino focuses on streamed dealer tables such as roulette, blackjack and baccarat. The sports betting app is a separate download. You can install one, two or all three, and they share the same login and balance. If storage is tight, choose the app that matches what you actually play; our low-storage phones guide has tips on freeing space.
Does the Paddy Power casino app work on Android?
Paddy Power is a licensed UK operator, so its apps can be listed on Google Play in Great Britain if Google has approved them. Search Google Play for Paddy Power, open the listing and check the developer name in the About section before installing. If you can't find a casino app there, the website runs in Chrome and can be saved to your home screen. Our Android casino apps page explains how Google's rules work.
Who owns Paddy Power?
Paddy Power is owned by Flutter Entertainment, the group formed when Paddy Power merged with Betfair in 2016 and renamed in 2019. Flutter also owns Sky Betting & Gaming, PokerStars and Betfair. The UK casino licence for Paddy Power sits with PPB Entertainment Limited, a Flutter company registered in Malta. You can see its details, licensed activities and domain names on the Gambling Commission's public register using account number 39426.
Can I use Face ID in the Paddy Power casino app?
Neither iPhone casino listing mentions Face ID or Touch ID, so we can't confirm it. Many casino apps offer biometric login after your first password sign-in, usually as a prompt or a toggle in the account settings, so look there once you have installed the app. Face ID only replaces typing your password; the account behind it is the same. Our guide on how to enable Face ID on casino apps explains the usual steps.
Is my Paddy Power balance the same in every app?
Yes. The Games app, the Live Casino app, the sportsbook app and the website all connect to one Paddy Power account, so you see one balance and one set of limits. A deposit limit you set in one place applies everywhere, and a time-out or self-exclusion covers every product on that account. This is standard for UK operators. Our comparison of apps and mobile sites explains why the app is just another window onto the account.
Has Paddy Power been fined by the Gambling Commission?
Yes. The Commission's records include a £2.2 million penalty in 2018 against the business when it traded as Paddy Power Betfair, and a £2 million settlement in December 2025. The Commission publishes a public statement for each case explaining the failures it found. Enforcement history is public for every licensee, and the register remains the best place to confirm a licence is currently active. Our UK casino app rules guide explains what licensees must do.
Why does the Paddy Power casino app ask for documents?
UK licensees must verify your identity and age before you play, and they can ask for more information later to meet anti-money laundering and affordability duties. That might mean a photo of your passport or driving licence, a recent bank statement or proof of address, uploaded through the app's camera. Withdrawals can pause until checks are complete. Our help page on why a casino app is asking for documents covers each type of request.
Can I play Paddy Power's casino games for free?
Demo versions of games, where offered, can only be played after you have verified your age, which has been the UK rule since May 2019. The Games listing also describes a daily prize wheel, but prize features carry their own terms, so read them in the app first. Remember that real-money play costs money and the house edge means losses are likely over time. Our page on free casino apps explains the difference between demo modes and social casino apps.
