Spin Genie casino app

Spin Genie casino app: quick facts

Spin Genie is a slots-led casino with a genie theme. Its iPhone app appears on the UK App Store as SpinGenie: Real Money Slots, in the Casino category, rated 18+, and sold by Skill On Net Ltd. It runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS or iPadOS 15.0 or later, and the listing also shows support for Macs with an Apple M1 chip or later and Apple Vision.

As with every UK casino app, the app and the website share one account. Deposits, limits, verification and your transaction history follow you from phone to tablet to browser.

Skill On Net, the company behind Spin Genie

The Gambling Commission register lists Skill On Net Limited, account 39326, as Spin Genie's licence holder, with a UK casino licence dating from 1 November 2014. The company's registered head office is in Limassol, Cyprus. The register shows two active Spin Genie domains, spingenie.com and spingenie.co.uk, and no regulatory action against the licensee.

Skill On Net also runs PlayOJO under the same licence. We have an affiliate relationship with PlayOJO, so we mention that openly; it doesn't change the facts on this page, all of which come from the register and the store listing. Spin Genie has also expanded beyond the UK, launching in Ontario, Canada.

Spin Genie's App Store listing in detail

Why the Spin Genie app is such a small download

At 27.5 MB, Spin Genie's app is a fraction of the size of many casino apps, some of which pass 150 MB or even 300 MB. A small install usually means the app works as a lightweight shell, with games and lobby content loaded from the operator's servers when you open them rather than bundled in the download.

That has a few practical effects on a phone:

• It installs quickly and suits phones with little free storage; see our low-storage phones guide.
• Each new game you open downloads its graphics the first time, so first loads can be slower on a weak signal.
• The app's cache can grow as you try more games; clearing it frees space but means reloading assets later.
• It relies on a decent connection, so it won't work offline.

Our guide to casino app data usage explains how to see how much data any app uses on iPhone and Android.

Jackpots, Megaways and tournaments in the Spin Genie lobby

The listing describes a large slot library, naming titles such as Book of Dead, Starburst and Fishin' Frenzy. It highlights daily progressive jackpots, a collection of Megaways slots, free-to-play tournaments, personalised daily offers and early access to new releases. Check the lobby itself for what is live on your account, since store descriptions can lag behind.

Daily jackpots usually work as must-drop jackpots that have to pay out before a set time each day, though the exact rules sit in each game's info screen. Free-to-play tournaments rank players on a leaderboard and pay prizes under the tournament terms; if a prize is bonus money, wagering for offers made from 19 January 2026 can't exceed 10x.

Every slot follows UK rules: no autoplay or turbo, at least 2.5 seconds per spin, no bonus buy, and a maximum stake of £5 a spin, or £2 if you are 18 to 24. Slots have a house edge, so expect to lose over time and set a budget you are comfortable spending.

What Spin Genie's privacy label says

Apple's privacy labels are written by developers and not verified by Apple. Spin Genie's label is short: it lists identifiers, including a device ID, as data used to track you and as data not linked to you, for third-party advertising and analytics. You can stop cross-app tracking by tapping Ask App Not to Track when prompted, or under Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.

A short label doesn't mean the operator holds no personal data. Like any licensed casino, it must hold your identity and payment details to run your account. Our casino apps and your personal data page explains your rights, including how to request a copy of your data.

Installing the Spin Genie casino app

1. Open the App Store and search SpinGenie.
2. Open SpinGenie: Real Money Slots and check the seller is Skill On Net Ltd.
3. Tap Get and approve with Face ID, Touch ID or your password.
4. Open the app, register or log in, and complete age and identity checks.
5. Choose whether to allow notifications and tracking when prompted.
6. Set a deposit limit in the account area before you first deposit.

On Android, search Google Play and check the developer name before installing. If Spin Genie isn't listed, use the mobile site rather than an APK file; our page on Android APK casino apps explains why.

Limits and support at Spin Genie

Skill On Net's UK licence requires it to offer deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion, and to take part in GAMSTOP. In most apps these sit under the account menu in a safer gambling section. A tournament leaderboard can encourage longer sessions, so pairing it with a reality check or session reminder is sensible.
