The Jackpotjoy casino app is the iPhone, iPad and Android front end for Jackpotjoy, a UK bingo and casino brand run by Gamesys Operations Limited under UK Gambling Commission account 38905. This profile sets out who runs it, what the app contains, how bingo works on a small screen and how to confirm any listing before you install it.
Jackpotjoy is licensed through Gamesys Operations Limited (UKGC account 38905), with jackpotjoy.com listed as an active domain.
The UK App Store listing is published by Gamesys Limited and describes bingo, slots, Slingo and live casino; check the publisher before installing.
The same licence covers Double Bubble Bingo and Bally Casino, plus white-label sites such as Virgin Games and Monopoly Casino.
We don't partner with Jackpotjoy and don't score it; the closing section lists UKGC-licensed alternatives with their published terms.

Who runs the Jackpotjoy casino app
Jackpotjoy belongs to the Gamesys family of brands. The UK Gambling Commission’s public register lists the licence holder as Gamesys Operations Limited, account number 38905, with a head office at Waterport Place in Gibraltar. The register shows four remote licences on that account, all active: bingo and casino since 1 November 2014, real-event betting since 23 May 2016 and virtual-event betting since 29 August 2024.
Ownership has moved more than once. Gamesys was bought by Bally’s Corporation in 2021, and in October 2025 the business became part of Intralot S.A., in which Bally’s now holds 58%. None of that changes how the app works for a UK player: the account, balance and safer gambling settings sit with the licensed company, and the UKGC register is where you confirm it.
The Jackpotjoy website says the brand has been online since 2002, which makes it one of the longer-running bingo names in Britain. That history matters on a phone mainly because it explains the layout: bingo rooms and community features came first, with slots and casino tables added around them.

A white label is a brand that uses another company’s licence and platform, so the same operator handles your verification and payments. You can read our profiles of Double Bubble Bingo, Bally Casino and Virgin Games if you want to see how the sister apps differ in focus.
Because these brands share one licence holder, a self-exclusion with the operator may cover more than one of them. For a block across every UK online gambling site, use GAMSTOP instead.
What the Jackpotjoy app listing shows on iPhone and Android
On the UK App Store the app appears as Jackpotjoy – Real Money Casino, published by Gamesys Limited. The listing, checked on 20 October 2026, gives these details: category Casino, age rating 18+, around 94 MB to download, and a requirement of iOS 16.0 or later on iPhone (iPadOS 16.0 on iPad). The seller name differs slightly from the licence holder because Gamesys Limited is the group company that publishes the apps, while Gamesys Operations Limited holds the UK licence.
The description mentions 90-ball and 75-ball bingo with chat hosts, slots including progressive titles, Slingo, live dealer blackjack, roulette and game shows, and a rewards feature called the Wheel of Joy. It doesn’t mention Face ID or notification settings, so check the app’s own settings screen for those once installed. For Android, we couldn’t confirm the current Google Play listing; search Google Play for Jackpotjoy and confirm the developer name matches the Gamesys group before tapping Install.
Open the App Store (or Google Play) and search for Jackpotjoy.
Tap the result and scroll to the developer or seller name; on iPhone it should read Gamesys Limited.
Check the age rating shows 18+ and the category is Casino.
Read the privacy section to see which data the app links to you, such as location and payment details.
Only then tap Get or Install, and sign in with your existing Jackpotjoy details if you already have an account.
Playing bingo in the Jackpotjoy app on a small screen
Bingo is the part of Jackpotjoy that behaves most differently on a phone. A 90-ball ticket is a strip of six cards, which is a lot to fit on a portrait screen, so bingo apps generally auto-daub your numbers and highlight the ticket closest to a win rather than showing every card at full size. A 75-ball card is a 5×5 grid and usually fits on one screen. See our bingo apps guide for how the formats compare.
Chat is the other phone-specific factor. Bingo rooms run a live chat with hosts, which on a phone means the keyboard can cover half the screen. If you only want to follow the game, minimising the chat panel keeps the tickets visible. Rooms run on a timetable, so the lobby shows the next start time, ticket price and prize for each room.
Slingo sits between the two worlds: a 5×5 grid like bingo with a reel of numbers like a slot. Slingo games count as slot-style products, so the UK slot rules on stakes and spin speed apply to them in the same way.
Games and products inside the Jackpotjoy app
Going by the store listing and the brand facts we hold, the app brings together the following:
Bingo: 75-, 80- and 90-ball rooms, some with chat hosts.
Slots, including progressive jackpot slots; see our jackpot slots apps guide for how pooled jackpots work.
Slingo titles.
Casino tables and live casino with real dealers.
Sports betting, which the licence covers, though the App Store description focuses on casino and bingo.
Game counts change often and we can’t verify a current figure, so we don’t quote one. RTP also varies: many slots exist in several versions, and the game’s own help screen shows the RTP the casino is running.
UK rules that apply in the Jackpotjoy app
Every UKGC-licensed app works within the same rules, so these apply to Jackpotjoy just as they do to our partners:

What it means in the app
Slot stake limit

Spin speed
At least 2.5 seconds per slot spin, no autoplay or turbo

Our UK casino app rules guide explains each change in more detail and how the age-based stake cap is applied at sign-up.
Regulatory record on the UKGC register
The register records a penalty package of £6,071,292 against Gamesys Operations Limited, in a decision dated 22 November 2023. The Commission publishes the details of each case on the licensee’s page, including what failings it found and what the operator agreed to change. We mention it because it’s part of the public record for this licence, not as a rating; several large UK operators have similar entries.
If you want to read it yourself, open the register entry for account 38905 and choose the regulatory action tab.
Safer gambling tools to look for
All UK-licensed apps must offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, and must show reality checks on request. In a bingo-led app it’s worth setting a deposit limit before buying tickets, because rooms start one after another and costs add up across a session. A time-out pauses the account for a set period, while GAMSTOP blocks you from every UK online gambling site at once.

How to check Jackpotjoy or any casino on the UKGC register
Scroll to the footer of the casino’s website or the app’s About screen and note the company name and UKGC account number.
Open the Gambling Commission’s public register in your phone’s browser and search by account number or business name.
Confirm the licence status shows Active for remote casino (and remote bingo if you plan to play bingo).
Open the domain names tab and check the brand’s website appears as Active or White label, not Inactive.
Look at the regulatory action tab for any published penalties.
Compare alternatives to the Jackpotjoy casino app
If you’re weighing up other apps, the three below are UKGC-licensed brands we work with. PlayOJO (Skill On Net Limited, account 39326) offers 80 free spins on Big Bass Bonanza at 10p each when new UK customers aged 18+ deposit at least £10, with no wagering on winnings; it excludes Northern Ireland. Coral and Ladbrokes (both LC International Limited, account 54743) give spins after a £10 slots stake: 100 at 10p from Coral, or up to 500 at 10p from Ladbrokes, paid as 50 a day over 10 days, with no wagering. Payment exclusions and expiry dates apply, so read the terms in each app. Our app reviews compare them side by side.
We don’t work with Jackpotjoy. These three UKGC-licensed apps are ones we do work with; each offer is for new customers aged 18+, needs a £10 deposit or stake, and full terms apply.
Coral and Ladbrokes are both run by LC International Limited (Entain). If you already hold an account with one Entain brand, you may not be able to open a new account with another; check the terms before signing up.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Jackpotjoy casino app licensed in the UK?
Yes. Jackpotjoy is operated by Gamesys Operations Limited, which holds active remote bingo, casino and betting licences from the UK Gambling Commission under account 38905. The register lists jackpotjoy.com as an active domain on that account, checked in October 2026. The app is a front end to the same licensed account, so the same rules on stakes, verification and safer gambling apply on your phone as on the website. You can confirm the details yourself using the steps in our safe casino apps guide.
Who publishes the Jackpotjoy app on the App Store?
Apple’s UK storefront names Gamesys Limited as the seller and provider, which is the Gamesys group company that publishes its apps. The UK licence itself is held by a sister company, Gamesys Operations Limited, so the two names differ slightly but belong to the same group. Before installing, open the listing, scroll to the developer line and make sure it reads Gamesys rather than an unknown name. Our download guide explains how to spot copycat listings on both stores.
Can I play bingo in the Jackpotjoy app?
Yes. Its App Store description mentions 90-ball and 75-ball bingo with chat hosts, and the brand also runs 80-ball rooms according to the facts we hold. Rooms start on a timetable, so the lobby shows the next game time, ticket price and prize. On a phone, tickets are normally auto-daubed and the app highlights the card nearest to a win. Setting a deposit limit first is sensible because rooms run back to back. Our bingo apps page explains the different ball formats.
Which sites are sister brands of Jackpotjoy?
The UKGC register lists Double Bubble Bingo and Bally Casino as active domains on the same Gamesys licence, and Virgin Games, Monopoly Casino and the Rainbow Riches sites as white labels. Megaways Casino appears as inactive after being replaced by Bally Casino. Because they share a licence holder, your verification and safer gambling settings may be handled by the same operator team, though each brand has its own account. See our Bally Casino app profile for one of the sister apps.
Does the Jackpotjoy app support Face ID?
The listing we checked on Apple’s UK store doesn’t mention Face ID or Touch ID, so we can’t confirm it. Many casino apps offer biometric sign-in as a setting after your first password login, so look in the app’s account or security menu once installed. If it isn’t there, a password manager is a sensible alternative to a reused password. Our Face ID guide shows where the setting usually lives and what to do if it stops working.
What iPhone do I need for the Jackpotjoy app?
According to its store page, the app needs iOS 16.0 or later on iPhone and iPadOS 16.0 or later on iPad, and it is around 94 MB to download. Requirements change with updates, so check the Compatibility line on the listing before installing. If your phone can’t run the current version, the Jackpotjoy mobile website in Safari is an option, since it uses the same account. Our page on casino apps for older phones explains the trade-offs.
Has Jackpotjoy’s operator been fined by the Gambling Commission?
The register records a penalty package of £6,071,292 against Gamesys Operations Limited in a decision dated 22 November 2023. The Commission’s published statement explains the failings it found and the steps the operator agreed to take. A past penalty doesn’t mean a licence is suspended; the register shows all four Gamesys remote licences as active. You can read the record yourself on the register, and our UKGC glossary entry explains what the Commission can and can’t do.
Is Jackpotjoy one of your partners?
No. We don’t have a commercial relationship with Jackpotjoy, so we don’t score it, describe its current welcome offer or link to it. This page is a neutral profile based on the UKGC register and the public App Store listing. If you want to compare apps we do work with, the closing section lists three UKGC-licensed alternatives with their key terms, and our advertiser disclosure explains how the site is funded and how that affects what we publish.
How do I stop using the Jackpotjoy app?
Deleting the app doesn’t close your account, so use the safer gambling or account menu to set a time-out, self-exclude or ask for closure. For a block that covers every UK online gambling brand, register with GAMSTOP, which lasts for six months, one year or five years. You can also call the National Gambling Helpline free on 0808 8020 133 at any time. Our page on whether deleting an app closes your account walks through the difference.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
