The Midnite casino app is part of a single sports and casino app run by Dribble Media Limited, a London company licensed by the UK Gambling Commission under account 42647. Midnite started as a betting brand and added a remote casino licence in May 2023. This page explains how the casino fits into the app, what the store listing shows and how to check the licence.

The company behind the Midnite casino app
Midnite is owned and run by Dribble Media Limited, which the UK Gambling Commission register lists at 86–90 Paul Street, London EC2A. Many UK-licensed casino operators are based in Gibraltar or Malta, so a London licence holder is a little unusual. The company was founded in 2016 by the team behind the Dribble fantasy football app and began as an esports and sports betting brand before adding casino games.
In recent years the brand has become more visible through sport sponsorship, including the World Snooker Championship in 2025 (renewed for 2026), the Masters in 2026, and sponsorships with Sheffield United and Southampton. Sponsorship has no bearing on licensing, but it explains why many people first meet Midnite as a betting app rather than a casino.

The casino licence is the one that matters for this page: without it, Midnite couldn’t offer slots or live dealer games to British players. Our glossary entry on the remote gambling licence explains the different types.
How the casino sits inside the Midnite app
Unlike operators that publish a separate casino app, Midnite uses one app for everything. On Apple’s UK store it is called Midnite: Sports & Casino, with the subtitle Bet On Football & Play Slots, and it is filed under Sports rather than Casino. The developer is Dribble Media Limited, matching the licence holder. On the phone, that typically means a sportsbook home screen with the casino reached from a tab or menu, and one wallet shared between both.
A shared wallet is convenient but worth thinking about. Money you deposited for a football bet can be spent on slots in two taps, so a deposit limit that covers your combined budget is the simplest safeguard. Since 19 January 2026, UK operators also can’t run promotions that mix products, such as requiring a sports bet to unlock casino spins. Our guide to casino apps vs betting apps looks at the pros and cons of combined apps.

The privacy section is worth a look. The developer’s label lists coarse location among data linked to you and location among data used for tracking, alongside contact, financial and usage data. Location checks are common in gambling apps; our page on whether casino apps track your location explains why. We couldn’t confirm the current Google Play listing, so Android users should check the developer reads Dribble Media Limited before installing.
Casino games in the Midnite app
The store listing and brand facts describe an online casino with slots from multiple studios and a live casino with real dealers. Live tables stream video, so they use far more mobile data than slots; switch to Wi-Fi for long sessions. Our live casino apps guide explains how live tables are laid out in portrait and landscape.
Every slot in a UK app follows the same design rules: no autoplay, no turbo spins, at least 2.5 seconds per spin and a visible balance. Stakes are capped at £5 a spin if you’re 25 or over and £2 if you’re 18–24. The cap is set from your date of birth at registration, so you won’t see a higher option in the bet menu.
Safer gambling on a combined sports and casino app
Midnite must offer the standard UK tools: deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion. On a combined app, a time-out normally applies to the whole account, sport and casino together. If you’re a football bettor who wants to stay away from slots, check whether the app lets you restrict casino products specifically, or contact support to ask.

Frequently asked questions
Who owns the Midnite casino app?
Midnite is owned by Dribble Media Limited, a company based at Paul Street in London. It holds UK Gambling Commission account 42647, with active remote casino, bingo, betting, pool betting and gambling software licences. The company was founded in 2016 by the team behind the Dribble fantasy football app. Its App Store listing names Dribble Media Limited as developer, so the app and licence match. Our UKGC glossary entry explains what the licence means for players.
Does Midnite have a separate casino app?
No. Midnite publishes a single app, Midnite: Sports & Casino, that includes both the sportsbook and the casino, with one shared balance. On Apple’s UK store it is listed in the Sports category. That means you install one app and switch between sections inside it. If you’d rather keep betting and casino apart, set a deposit limit that covers both. Our casino apps vs betting apps page weighs up combined and separate apps.
When did Midnite start offering casino games?
Midnite’s remote casino licence has been active since 15 May 2023, according to the UK Gambling Commission register. Before then the company held betting and gambling software licences, with pool betting from 2016 and real-event betting from December 2018. A bingo licence followed in July 2024. The brand therefore began as a betting app and added casino later. Our new casino apps guide explains how to judge a brand’s casino side when it’s relatively recent.
What iPhone do I need for Midnite?
The UK App Store listing says the app needs iOS 16.0 or later on iPhone and iPadOS 16.0 or later on iPad, and the download is about 159 MB. Requirements change with updates, so check the compatibility line before installing. If your phone can’t run it, the Midnite website works in Safari with the same account. Our iPhone casino apps guide covers storage, updates and Face ID set-up in general terms.
Is the Midnite app safe?
It is licensed in Britain, with all six of Dribble Media Limited’s remote licences listed as active and no enforcement action recorded on the register when we checked in October 2026. Licensed apps must check your age and identity, follow UK stake and game-speed rules, and offer safer gambling tools. Install it only from the official App Store or Google Play listing with Dribble Media Limited as developer. Our casino app safety guide covers fake listings.
Why does the Midnite app ask for my location?
Gambling apps commonly use location to confirm you’re in a country where their licence applies. Midnite’s App Store privacy label lists coarse location as linked to you and location among data used for tracking, which the developer describes in its own privacy notice. You can review the permission in your phone’s settings. If you’re travelling, a UK app may block play abroad. See our page on using UK casino apps abroad for more.
Can I bet on sport and play casino with one Midnite balance?
Yes. Because Midnite uses one app and one account, your balance is shared between the sportsbook and the casino. That’s convenient, but it also makes it easy to spend more than you planned across both. A deposit limit applies to the whole account, so set it with your total budget in mind. Since January 2026, UK promotions can’t require a bet on one product to unlock a bonus on another. Our deposit limits guide explains how to set one.
Is Midnite a partner of this site?
No. We don’t have a commercial relationship with Midnite or Dribble Media Limited, so we don’t give it a score, describe its welcome offer or link to it. Everything here comes from the UK Gambling Commission register and Apple’s UK App Store listing, checked on 20 October 2026. The apps in our closing section are partners, and our advertiser disclosure explains how we’re funded.
