The Buzz Casino casino app is a standalone casino app from the Nottingham-based Buzz group, sitting alongside its separate Buzz Bingo app. Online play runs on a licence held by Buzz Bingo Digital Limited (UKGC account 57594). Here's who's behind it, what the App Store listing shows and how to tell the two Buzz apps apart.
Online Buzz Casino play is licensed to Buzz Bingo Digital Limited, UKGC account 57594, active since 31 March 2023.
Buzz runs two iPhone apps: Buzz Casino - Slots & Games and Buzz Bingo - Slots & Casino, both published by Buzz Group Limited.

Search the App Store for Buzz and you'll see two real-money apps from the same publisher, Buzz Group Limited. The newer one, Buzz Casino - Slots & Games, is the casino app this page is about. The older Buzz Bingo - Slots & Casino app focuses on online bingo rooms with presenters and chat, and also carries slots, Slingo and table games.
The split matters if you mainly want live dealer games. Version notes on the bingo app state that "Live Casino games are moving to Buzz Casino", so roulette and blackjack with presenters are heading for the casino app. Both apps reach accounts on the same online licence, but check in each app which login it accepts before assuming one username works in both.

Who runs the Buzz Casino casino app
Buzz began as a chain of bingo clubs on British high streets. Its online gambling sits with a separate company, Buzz Bingo Digital Limited, based at Unit 1 Castle Marina Road in Nottingham. The Gambling Commission register shows this company holding remote bingo, casino and linked gambling software licences, all active since 31 March 2023, under account 57594. Buzz Casino itself launched in April 2023.
The clubs are licensed separately, to Buzz Group Limited under account 2355. Both companies have been owned by the investment firm Intermediate Capital Group since 2021. Behind the games lobby, Buzz uses a platform from Playtech, which explains why the store listing highlights the Age of the Gods series, one of that studio's best-known jackpot families.
A UK company address and a Nottingham head office make Buzz unusual among online casinos, many of which are licensed through companies in Gibraltar or Malta. The licence rules are identical either way.
What the Buzz Casino app listing describes
The App Store description for Buzz Casino mentions a large slots library including Age of the Gods titles, live casino games with presenters such as roulette and blackjack, card and table games, daily events with cash prizes, and a safer gambling section with tools for tracking time, budgets and breaks. The app runs on iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision and needs iOS 16.0 or later.
The privacy label lists identifiers and diagnostics as data that may be used to track you, while purchases, financial details, contact info, user content and identifiers are linked to your identity. Location appears under data not linked to you. Our guide to casino app privacy settings explains what each category means and how to limit tracking on iPhone.
For Android, search Google Play for Buzz Casino and check the developer line names Buzz Group Limited or Buzz Bingo Digital Limited. If no listing appears for your phone, the mobile website reaches the same account.
Installing the Buzz Casino app and checking it's genuine
Open the App Store and search "Buzz Casino"; pick Buzz Casino - Slots & Games, not the bingo app, if live casino is what you want.
Check the publisher line reads Buzz Group Limited and the age rating shows 18+.
Install, open the app and register or sign in; you'll be asked for name, address and date of birth for identity checks.
Find the terms or footer in the app and confirm it names Buzz Bingo Digital Limited and UKGC account 57594.
Set a deposit limit and a reality check reminder in the safer gambling section before funding the account.
On iPhone, our installation guide covers Face ID prompts and what to do if the App Store says the app isn't available in your region.
Bingo app or casino app: which Buzz app suits you
Bingo rooms run to a timetable and reward patience; casino games are on demand and move quicker. Our comparison of a casino app versus a bingo app sets out how spending tends to differ between the two. If you mostly buy bingo tickets, the Buzz Bingo app keeps you away from fast slot lobbies. If you want slots and live tables, the casino app is where Buzz is heading. Many people install only one to keep things simple.
Advantages
A UK-based licensee with a long club history
No regulatory actions listed for either licensee
Separate apps let you keep bingo and casino apart
Safer gambling tools named in the store description
Drawbacks
Two apps can cause confusion over where live games sit
No Android details confirmed for this profile
Large install sizes (over 100 MB each on iPhone)
How UK rules shape play in the Buzz apps
Slots in either Buzz app follow the Gambling Commission's design rules: no autoplay, no turbo spins and at least 2.5 seconds per spin. Stakes are capped at £5 a spin for over-25s and £2 for 18–24-year-olds. Bingo isn't covered by the slot stake cap, and for Slingo titles the in-game rules screen shows the stake range that applies. Bonus wagering is capped at 10x and demo versions of games are only available after age verification.
Safer gambling in the Buzz Casino app
The store listing points to a safer gambling section with time tracking, budget tools and breaks. Expect deposit limits, a time-out, reality checks and self-exclusion, which every UK licensee must offer. Because the clubs and the online business hold separate licences, ask about club self-exclusion as well if you also visit a venue. GAMSTOP covers the online side; the National Gambling Helpline is on 0808 8020 133.
Checking Buzz, or any casino, on the UKGC register
Search account 57594 on the Commission's public register and you'll see the company name, Nottingham address, licence types and status. The Domain names and Trading names tabs list each site attached to the licence. Our licence check guide explains the process, and the brands hub profiles other operators in the same way.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Buzz Casino app safe and licensed?
Buzz Casino runs on a licence held by Buzz Bingo Digital Limited, UK Gambling Commission account 57594, with remote casino and bingo licences active since 31 March 2023. The register lists no regulatory actions against it. A licence means the operator must verify age and identity, protect your funds as described in its terms and offer safer gambling tools. Safety also depends on installing the genuine app; our casino app security guide covers Face ID, passwords and safe installs.
What's the difference between the Buzz Casino and Buzz Bingo apps?
Buzz Casino - Slots & Games focuses on slots, live casino and table games, while Buzz Bingo - Slots & Casino centres on online bingo rooms with presenters and chat, plus some slots and Slingo. Both are published by Buzz Group Limited. According to its update notes, live casino is moving across to the casino app. If you only play bingo, our bingo apps guide explains how bingo rooms work on a phone and what to look for.
Who owns Buzz Casino?
Buzz Casino is part of the Buzz group, owned since 2021 by Intermediate Capital Group, an investment firm. The online licence is held by Buzz Bingo Digital Limited in Nottingham, while the bingo clubs are licensed to Buzz Group Limited under account 2355. The games run on a Playtech platform. Ownership can change, so the licensee on the register is the name to rely on. Our licence check guide shows where to find it.
What iPhone do I need for the Buzz Casino app?
The App Store listing for Buzz Casino - Slots & Games stated iOS 16.0 or later in October 2026, with an install size of 117 MB. It also runs on iPad with iPadOS 16.0 or later and on Apple Vision. Any iPhone that can run iOS 16 should meet that requirement, though older models may feel slower in live streams. Our page on iPhone casino apps explains storage, updates and what to do if a listing won't install.
Is Buzz Casino on Google Play?
We couldn't confirm a Google Play listing within this profile, so check the store on your Android phone. Google allows real-money gambling apps in Great Britain only from licensed operators it has approved, so any genuine listing should name Buzz Group Limited or Buzz Bingo Digital Limited as developer. If nothing appears, use the mobile website in Chrome instead of downloading a file from elsewhere. Our page on casino APK downloads explains why sideloading is best avoided.
Can I use my Buzz Bingo club membership in the app?
Club play and online play sit on different licences, so don't assume a club card or club self-exclusion carries across to the app. The Buzz Bingo app includes a club finder for venues, but your online account is a separate registration with its own identity checks and limits. If you've self-excluded from a club, tell online support too, and register with GAMSTOP to block online gambling more widely. Our self-exclusion explainer covers how the schemes fit together.
Does the Buzz Casino app have live dealer games?
Yes, according to the App Store listing, which describes live casino games with presenters such as roulette and blackjack. Version notes on the bingo app say live casino is moving into the Buzz Casino app, so that's the one to install for live tables. Live streams use more data than slots, so Wi-Fi is the easier choice for long sessions. Our live casino apps guide explains stream quality, data use and the 5-second minimum round rule.
Has Buzz ever been fined by the Gambling Commission?
The public register lists no regulatory actions for Buzz Bingo Digital Limited or for Buzz Group Limited, the club operator. That's a fact about the record at the time of writing rather than a guarantee about the future, and the register is updated whenever the Commission acts. You can check the current position yourself in a minute by searching either account number. Our safe casino apps page explains what else to look at besides enforcement history.
Are slot stakes limited in the Buzz Casino app?
Yes. Like every UK-licensed app, Buzz Casino must cap online slot stakes at £5 per spin for players aged 25 and over and £2 per spin for players aged 18 to 24. The app works out which limit applies from the date of birth you verified at sign-up. Slots also can't offer autoplay or turbo spins. Our explainer on UK stake limits on mobile slots covers how the caps appear on screen.
Gambling can be addictive. Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day from the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133. Get support from GamCare or NHS gambling support, or block yourself from all UK-licensed gambling sites with GAMSTOP.
