Shaman’s Dream app play is simply Eyecon’s 25-line slot loaded inside a UK casino app: there is no separate download. It is a medium-volatility game with a wolf wild that doubles wins and a 15-spin feature that triples them, and the most important thing to check on your phone is which of its two RTP versions your casino runs.
Shaman’s Dream runs inside licensed casino apps; there is no standalone real-money app.
Eyecon publishes a 95% version and a 93% version, so check the rules screen before you play.
Three or more Dreamcatcher scatters award 15 free games with every win tripled.
UK limits apply: £5 a spin (25+), £2 a spin (18–24), no autoplay and at least 2.5 seconds per spin.

Shaman’s Dream app: what you are actually opening
Shaman’s Dream comes from Eyecon, the Australian studio behind Fluffy Favourites and part of Playtech since 2017. Like nearly every online slot, it is not sold as its own app. It sits in the game library of casino apps that carry Eyecon titles, and it loads in the same way whether you open it from the app or the casino’s mobile site.
The theme is Native American folklore: a shaman, a wolf, an eagle, a buffalo, totem-style artwork and a dreamcatcher scatter, set against a night sky. Card ranks fill the lower-paying slots. The look is plain by modern standards, which works in its favour on a phone, because the symbols are big and easy to tell apart on a small screen.
Shaman’s Dream on iPhone and Android screens
Eyecon’s games are built in HTML5 and scale to the screen. On most phones Shaman’s Dream looks best in landscape, because the 5 x 3 grid is wider than it is tall and the paylines are easier to follow when a winning line is traced across the reels. In portrait the reels shrink to fit the width, leaving empty space above and below.

Paylines, symbols and the wolf wild in Shaman’s Dream
Wins pay on 25 paylines, left to right, for three or more matching symbols starting on the first reel. The paytable inside the game lists every value in pounds at your current stake, so tap the info icon after changing your bet to see what each combination is worth.
The wolf is the substitute. According to Eyecon’s description of the game, it stands in for other symbols and doubles any prize it helps to complete. That makes a wolf on reels two to four the most useful thing to see in the base game, because it can both create a line and double it. Our wild symbol entry explains how substitutes usually work and where the exceptions are.
The Dreamcatcher scatter is not replaced by the wolf. Scatters count wherever they land, not on a line.
Dreamcatcher free games: 15 spins with tripled wins
Land three or more Dreamcatcher scatter symbols anywhere on the reels and you get 15 free games at the stake that triggered them. During the feature every win is multiplied by three. Eyecon’s game page says the feature can be reactivated up to 15 times, so further Dreamcatchers during the round add another batch of spins.
The feature plays out on its own once started, with each spin still taking at least 2.5 seconds. Your balance does not change from feature spins until wins are added, and the total for the round is shown at the end.
How the multipliers can combine
Eyecon does not spell out on its game page whether the wolf’s 2x and the feature’s 3x stack. Read the rules screen in your casino’s version: if they combine, a line completed by a wolf during free games would pay six times its normal value. Either way, the numbers in the paytable are the guide, not assumptions from other slots.
95% or 93%: why the Shaman’s Dream RTP version matters
Eyecon lists two versions of the game, one at 95% RTP and one at 93%. The casino picks which to run, and the player cannot change it. Both look and play the same; the difference is in how much of the money staked the game is designed to keep over the long run.

These are long-run averages, not predictions for a single session, but they show that the lower version costs 40% more in theory for the same play. To find the figure, open the game, tap the info or menu icon and look for “return to player” in the rules; our guide to finding a slot’s RTP in an app shows the usual places. The RTP range entry explains why studios offer more than one version.
Medium volatility on a phone: pacing a Shaman’s Dream session
Medium volatility means a mix of small line wins and occasional bigger results from the free games. It suits players who want a session to last rather than chase one large outcome, but it does not change the fact that the game keeps a share of every pound staked over time.
A £20 budget at 20p a spin is 100 spins before any wins are added back.
At 2.5 seconds a spin, 100 spins take a little over four minutes of pure spinning; with paytable checks and animations, longer.
Reality checks in UK apps pop up at intervals you can choose, showing how long you have played and your net position.
Set the reminders and a deposit limit from the account or safer gambling menu of your app before you start. Our reality checks guide shows where the setting lives in most apps.
UK rules for Shaman’s Dream in a casino app
Shaman’s Dream has no feature buy, so the UK ban on bonus buys makes no difference here. The other Gambling Commission rules do apply in every licensed app:
Maximum stake of £5 a spin for players aged 25 and over, and £2 a spin for players aged 18–24.
No autoplay, no turbo and no slam-stop, with each spin lasting at least 2.5 seconds.
No sounds or animations celebrating a return lower than the stake.
Balance and session net position shown on screen throughout.
Sign in to your casino app and tap the search bar in the casino lobby.
Type “Shaman” and select Shaman’s Dream by Eyecon.
Rotate your phone to landscape if the reels look small.
Tap the info icon and confirm the RTP shown for this version.
Choose your stake with the bet control; the app stops at your UK limit.
Tap spin for each round and watch for wolves and Dreamcatchers.
When the free games start, let them run, then check the round total shown at the end.
Shaman’s Dream demo mode in UK apps
Eyecon’s own site offers a demo, but inside a UK casino app demo mode is only available once you have registered and passed age verification. That rule has applied since May 2019. Demo credits are not money and can’t be withdrawn. A demo is useful for seeing how the wolf and Dreamcatcher behave, but no number of demo spins tells you how a real session will go.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a Shaman’s Dream app I can download?
No, Shaman’s Dream is not available as its own real-money app. It is an Eyecon slot that runs inside UK-licensed casino apps, using your casino account balance and limits. You download the casino’s app from the App Store or Google Play, sign in, then search its lobby for the game. Any listing offering a standalone Shaman’s Dream app from an unfamiliar developer is likely a social-casino copy with no cash prizes. Our guide to how to download casino apps explains how to check a listing’s developer.
What is the RTP of Shaman’s Dream?
Shaman’s Dream has a 95% RTP version and a 93% version, and the casino decides which one you get. Over £100 staked the 95% version is designed to keep £5 on average, and the 93% version £7. You cannot switch versions yourself, but you can check which one is running by opening the game’s info or rules screen. If the figure matters to you, compare it across apps before choosing where to play. The RTP entry in our glossary explains what the percentage does and does not tell you.
How do you trigger free games on Shaman’s Dream?
Three or more Dreamcatcher scatter symbols anywhere on the reels trigger 15 free games. They play at the stake used on the triggering spin, and every win during the feature is tripled. Landing more Dreamcatchers during the free games adds another batch, and Eyecon says the feature can be reactivated up to 15 times. There is no way to buy the feature and nothing you can do to make it land more often. Our free spins glossary entry explains how in-game features differ from casino bonus spins.
What does the wolf do in Shaman’s Dream?
The wolf is the wild symbol. It substitutes for regular symbols to complete winning lines, and Eyecon’s description says it doubles any prize it is part of. It does not replace the Dreamcatcher scatter. Whether the wolf’s doubling stacks with the tripled wins in free games is set out in the rules screen of your casino’s version, so check there rather than assume. Because lines pay from the leftmost reel, a wolf only helps when the symbols on the reels before it already match the line. The wild symbol entry has more on how substitutes work.
Is Shaman’s Dream high or low volatility?
Shaman’s Dream is rated medium volatility. In practice that means more frequent small line wins than a high-volatility slot, with the bigger results usually coming from the 15 free games. Medium volatility does not make a game cheaper to play; the house still keeps a share of stakes over time, around £5 to £7 per £100 depending on the RTP version. It simply tends to produce smoother sessions with fewer very long dry spells. Our volatility entry compares low, medium and high games with pound examples.
What is the maximum stake on Shaman’s Dream in the UK?
In a UK casino app you can stake up to £5 a spin if you are 25 or over, or £2 a spin if you are 18 to 24. These limits apply to every online slot from licensed operators, and the app sets them automatically from your date of birth. The game’s minimum stake depends on the casino’s configuration and is shown on the bet control. Lower stakes stretch a budget further on a medium-volatility game. The UK stake limits on mobile slots guide explains how the caps work.
Should I play Shaman’s Dream in portrait or landscape?
Landscape usually works better for Shaman’s Dream. The game uses a wide 5 x 3 reel set, so turning the phone sideways makes the symbols and winning lines bigger and easier to follow. Portrait still works, especially on large phones, but the reels shrink to fit the width and leave unused space. If your phone’s rotation lock is on, the game may stay in portrait; swipe down to open Control Centre on an iPhone, or the quick settings panel on Android, to turn it off. See our portrait vs landscape guide for more.
Can I play Shaman’s Dream for free?
You can play a demo version, but in UK casino apps only after you have registered and verified your age, a rule in place since May 2019. Demo credits have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn or used to win prizes. The demo plays the same way as the real-money game, so it is a fair way to learn the symbols and feature, but it says nothing about how a paid session will turn out. If no demo button appears, the demo mode entry explains why some casinos do not offer one.
Who makes Shaman’s Dream?
Shaman’s Dream is made by Eyecon, a studio founded in Australia in 1997 that has been owned by Playtech since 2017. Eyecon is best known in the UK for Fluffy Favourites, and its games tend to use simple 5 x 3 layouts with one main feature, often free games with a multiplier. Many of its slots, Shaman’s Dream included, come in more than one RTP version. Our Eyecon provider page covers the studio’s other mobile slots and how to find them in a casino app.
Does Shaman’s Dream use a lot of mobile data?
Shaman’s Dream is a fairly light game. Like most HTML5 slots, it downloads its graphics and sounds when it first loads, then sends only small amounts of data with each spin. Muting the sound does not reduce data much once the game has loaded, but it can help battery life a little. If you play on mobile data, opening the game on Wi-Fi first can speed up the initial load. Our casino app data usage page explains how slots compare with live dealer games, which use far more data.
