A minimum withdrawal is the smallest amount a casino app will pay out in one request. It is set by the operator and often varies by payment method: Coral and Ladbrokes publish £5 for Fast Bank Transfer and Google Pay, while Casumo doesn’t set a published floor but charges £3 on withdrawals under £10. Below the minimum, the withdraw button usually won’t let you continue.
Minimum withdrawals are set per operator and often per payment method.
Some casinos charge a fee on small payouts instead of, or as well as, a minimum.
If your balance is below the minimum, you don’t have to play it; ask support about your options.
Your first withdrawal also needs completed identity checks, whatever the amount.

What minimum withdrawal means
When you request a payout, the app checks the amount against the operator’s lowest permitted figure for the method you have chosen. Ask for less and you will usually see a message such as “minimum withdrawal is £5” or find the confirm button greyed out. The minimum is about the size of a single request; it doesn’t stop you withdrawing your whole balance in one go if the balance is above it.
The figure exists because each payout costs the operator to process, and because some payment providers set their own floors. It is different from the pending period, which is how long a request waits for approval, and from any withdrawal fee. Our help page on the casino app minimum withdrawal answers the most common problems step by step.

Small withdrawals worked through in pounds
Spin winnings below a method minimum: you win £4.30 from 10p spins and want it paid by a method with a £5 minimum. The request is blocked by that method, so ask whether another method in your name has a lower floor.
A small-payout fee: at Casumo, withdrawing £8 incurs the £3 fee, so £5 reaches you. Withdrawing £10 or more avoids the fee entirely.
Splitting a balance: with £60 in the account, you could withdraw £50 and keep £10, or take the full £60. Above the minimum, the choice is yours.
Mixed cash and bonus: only the cash balance counts towards what you can withdraw; bonus funds under wagering usually aren’t available.
The fee example shows why it can be cheaper to wait until a balance passes a threshold than to make several small withdrawals, but that is a reason to leave money where it is, not to play more to reach a round number.
If your balance is below the minimum withdrawal
A few pounds stuck below the threshold is a common frustration, especially after no-wagering spins. You have options that don’t involve gambling it.
Check the cashier for other withdrawal methods registered in your name. Minimums can differ by method.
Contact live chat or email and ask how the operator handles small balances. Some may advise on options case by case.
Leave the balance in place if you plan to return; it remains yours. Read the terms on inactive accounts so you know what happens after a long gap.
If you are closing the account, ask support how any remaining balance will be returned before you close it.
Playing on just to reach a withdrawal threshold is a classic way small sessions grow. If you feel that pull, a time-out from the account settings is a simple way to step back. The guide to dormant casino app accounts explains what happens to unused balances.
How payment methods affect the minimum withdrawal
UK casinos generally follow closed-loop payments: a withdrawal goes back to the method you deposited with, where that method supports payouts. Coral and Ladbrokes, for instance, pay Google Pay withdrawals to the underlying card, and PayPal withdrawals there need a PayPal deposit within the previous six months. So the method you deposit with can fix both your route out and its minimum.
If your deposit method can’t receive payouts, the operator will offer an alternative, often a bank transfer. Coral and Ladbrokes list Fast Bank Transfer as a withdrawal-only method, taking 2 to 4 business days once approved. The change withdrawal method guide covers how to add or switch methods in the app.
Requesting a withdrawal in a casino app
Open the app, sign in and tap your balance or the cashier icon, then choose Withdraw.
Pick the method; the minimum and any fee usually show beneath the amount box.
Enter an amount at or above the minimum and no higher than your cash balance.
Confirm, using Face ID or your password if asked. Upload any ID the app requests if your account isn’t yet verified.
Track the request in the transaction history, where it shows as pending, approved or paid.
Since 31 October 2021, UK casinos haven’t been allowed to let you reverse a withdrawal to keep playing. For a full walkthrough, see how to withdraw from casino apps.
KYC: identity checks that must be complete before a payout.
E-wallet: a method that can have different limits from cards.
No wagering: offers whose small winnings often meet withdrawal minimums.

Frequently asked questions
What is a minimum withdrawal?
A minimum withdrawal is the smallest amount a casino lets you take out in a single request. Below that figure, the app won’t process the payout through the chosen method. Minimums are set by each operator and often differ by payment method; Coral and Ladbrokes publish £5 for Fast Bank Transfer and Google Pay, for example. Some casinos use a fee on small withdrawals instead, as Casumo does with £3 below £10. The cashier shows the live figure. See how long casino app withdrawals take for timings after you request.
Why can’t I withdraw my balance?
The most common reasons are that the amount is below the minimum for your chosen method, part of the balance is bonus money still under wagering, or your account hasn’t finished identity checks. A payment method that can’t receive payouts is another cause. Check the cashier for the minimum, the bonus area for any active offer and your inbox for document requests. If none apply, contact support with a screenshot of the error. The casino app asking for documents page explains the verification side.
Do casino apps charge fees on small withdrawals?
Some do. Casumo charges £3 on withdrawals below £10 and nothing at £10 or more. Coral and Ladbrokes state that they don’t charge withdrawal fees. 10bet doesn’t publish fee information in the help pages we hold, and we haven’t verified PlayOJO’s, so check the cashier before confirming. Your bank or e-wallet provider may also apply its own charges, such as currency conversion if your account isn’t in pounds. The fast payout casino apps page compares withdrawal terms across apps.
What happens to money below the minimum withdrawal?
It stays in your account and remains yours. You can keep it for a future session, ask support whether another method has a lower minimum, or ask how a small balance is handled if you close the account. Read the operator’s terms on inactive accounts so you know what happens after a long gap without logging in. There is no need to gamble a small balance to reach a threshold. The account closure vs self-exclusion guide explains how balances are returned when you close.
Is the minimum withdrawal the same in the app and on the website?
Yes. A casino app connects to the same account as the website, so the balance, payment methods, minimums and fees are identical wherever you request the payout. What can differ is how the information is shown: on a phone, the minimum may only appear after you pick a method or tap into the amount box. If you are unsure, open the cashier on both and compare, or ask live chat. The app vs mobile site guide covers other differences between the two.
Can I withdraw no-wagering spin winnings if they are small?
Yes, as long as they meet the minimum for your withdrawal method and your account is verified. Winnings from no-wagering spins are paid as cash, so they are treated like any other withdrawable balance. With 10p spins, totals can be small, sometimes below a £5 method minimum. In that case, check for another method or leave the money in your account rather than playing on. The no wagering free spins apps page explains how these winnings are credited.
